All five layers of sunshield tensioning complete @NASAWebb!
Amazing achievement!
#JWST is the coolest thing in space and on course to #UnfoldTheUniverse#GoWebb!
This is it: we’ve just wrapped up one of the most challenging steps of our journey to #UnfoldTheUniverse.
With all five layers of sunshield tensioning complete, about 75% of our 344 single-point failures have been retired!
Beyond words and sadness.
Debbie has been a pioneering human geneticist and true champion for advancing genomics, #womeninSTEM, mentoring.
A wonderful colleague and friend. Conversations were always helpful, engaging and fun.
Missing her while appreciating all her goodness 💔
