This group of youth hiked up to Sandstone Peak which is the highest summit in the Santa Monica Mountains. They then celebrated their triumph with a visit to the beach!

Youth backpacked a total of 7 miles up to Cooper Canyon for their High Sierra screening hike. They are practicing before they spend 6 days backpacking in the High Sierra. Many of these youth have never been camping before so it’s very much a physical and mental challenge!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
