@killiepie1990 @jk_rowling Ha what do you think about the US working with neonazis to destabilize Ukraine democracy? Oliver Stone details this in his doc 'Ukraine on Fire'.
@cvaldary @thececilcharles An interesting way to think of masculinity as a unisex inner organization is to consider masculinity as narcissism whether in order or disorder. Both men and women are narcissistic, and both are not, are fluid and feminine, in synthesis. .. complex inner organizational function.
@cvaldary @thececilcharles Your focus on sexual cognition, fem as relatedness to feeling (eg. poetry vs philosophy, or pathos v logos) is sex as an inner organizational dynamic, or sex on cosmic scale as novelty function. Woman, on the other hand, is gestalt for sex on the 'whole human' level.
@cvaldary @thececilcharles But isn't womanhood conceptually different than femininity? Both men and women are complex synthesis of both masculinity and femininity.
@TheArtOfTheReal@ConceptualJames And then the other question is: if woman is widely accepted as a social construction, then why would Jackson refer to biology? π€
@K1ndStranger @DavidInMaryland@Reuters Sure they do. If you want to protect gender identity from discrimination, you'd have to define what you mean by gender in order to set a precedent. Or, even currently, if you wanted to judge cases about sex discrimination, you'd have to first define a woman.
@balalogy North, like 'now' is what philosopher's call an indexical term. They point within a context. The 'North' question is not like the 'something' question insofar as the context is not that of a sphere. It is philosophical, like a mathematical question, about context itself.
@balalogy It's interesting that your notion of existence is then predicated necessarily on your notion of now, which does not exist. Do you use science to determine what time is now, to then determine what does or does not exist at that point in time?
@balalogy But we are questioning the answer right now, aren't we? Do you believe a SuperAI in the future could achieve a state of being indistinguishable from God?
@balalogy But that is simply passing off human ignorance as absolute. That is knowledge discovers something in nothing. What we perceive as nothing isn't ever absolutely true. Re: north of the north pole reveals the limitations of context. But context is subjective. Reality exists beyond.
@balalogy 'Now' doesn't exist. I mean, we have a direct and totalistic acquaintance with it, but it does not exist. Could causility in the universe operate by some other than human mechanism? For instance, if God exists in the future, by some AI singularity point, does God exist?
@balalogy Neither God nor nothing exists, that's interesting! What's next, zero is not a number? But if you are a scientist, you accept that much of reality exists beyond human apperception. The nature of time, you will admit, is simply a subjective phenomenon, for example.
@silencewenche @MomZiggys @rueherday @gaytimes You're technically correct in that the 'no one' you are referencing is actually market capitalism. LGBT+ identities spiral out like altcoins for that the substrate which emerges queer theory is a market commodifying identity. Which the anti-groomer bill counteracts.
