@DeboOdulana That’s a tough one actually and I don’t know a perfect solution. But I know that increasing incentives for more complex cases would not prevent this.

@DeboOdulana But might allow healthcare professionals “shop”for less complex patients that require less time in order to increase patient volume. However, if quality can be objectively measured, I think there would be some potential benefits.

@DeboOdulana I think it’s really complex (as with every public health problem) but I think the overall benefits are minimal. For example, if the performance metric being used is “volume of patients seen”, the incentive would not improve time quality of care….
