@stevebwriter@radionz Plastics tend to collapse rapidly in UV sunlight, a major problem in NZ with its exceptionally strong UV. I understand that adding lots of titanium to shield most of the plastic from the UV does improve durability -- strength in a sense.
@ali_shand#stellarsurvey has been down again since Friday October 26. I had an email from them on Sunday saying they'd keep me informed but nothing since. A later request for the data of ours they hold has yielded no response.
