@UberEats@LA28@TeamUSA Placed an order. Not only did someone who was NOT the driver listed on the app deliver the food, but I also got someone else’s order. I contacted Uber via the app and I’m yet to receive a response. There is no other way to get in touch with customer service.
@PopBase Trademark Attorney here 🙋🏾♀️ She doesn’t really have to stop any thing. She does have to take quick action with regards to filing her own Trademark and showing that she is the originator of the mark.
It’s not as simple as I’m making it seem but hope is not lost.
The amount of stores on Etsy I’ve seen over the last few weeks with Barbie merchandise. 👀
As an IP a lawyer, I can’t help but wonder if they have permission because if they don’t, they can literally be shut down with no warning. Small business or not.
Before you run a marketing campaign using any Barbie assets:
- Barbie trademarked the shade of pink they use.
- Barbie owns their font.
- Barbie is trademarked.
BARBIE WILL SUE YOU!
Be original, avoid that million dollar lawsuit you will NOT win!
Unfortunately if you are using a company’s IP without their permission, they won’t care if you are a small business or not. If you don’t have permission, you are infringing on their Trademark. That’s the beauty of owning Trademarks. You can shut people down.
Absolutely this! Colors can be trademarked. So can sounds. You can trademark anything that sets your brand apart from another. It’s not just brand names and logos that can be trademarked.
@MarketingBully_ Exavtly! It’s just like Tiffany’s having Tiffany Blue trademarked. That hue is theirs and theirs alone. People will crack jokes and say “a color is just a color and you cannot trademark it” but they truly aren’t familiar with businesses and trademarking.
@JoshuaDPetrie @BigEsqBae IP Lawyer here 🙋🏾♀️It’s absolutely true. Letting other people use your Trademark without enforcing your rights weakens your Trademark.

Not only selling Juneteenth ice-cream but also trying to Trademark Juneteenth… make it make sense 😳😳. It’s the ALWAYS trying to profit from black culture for me. And this is why representation matters, especially in the legal field.
