@AndrewJinjika@uche_cmd@Thechat101 Exactly, how will you go attack for attack against a Messi with a passing precision of a sniper.
Argentina scores goals for fun from 80th min while England doesnt, this made Tuchel opt for defence, which worked against Mexico and Norway.
@MuggleMeIs1920@Thechat101 Starting from when England scored, players weren't told to be defensive. The players made Tuchel make those subs, the players were tired of even pressing. I was disappointed because they players were scared and wanted to hold on to 1:0.
@tobyasky The same pundits were busy, claiming Argentina was a poor team before the match.
Kante, Casemiro, J S park, and Fernandinho all have man-marked Messi, and it didn't work.
Argentina was just better all round, not Tuchel's fault. Blame players that allowed crosses and shots.
@DanAbrahams77 I will trust Tuchel 100 times ahead of those players who can not stop an Enzo from shooting 4times in the game and twice in 40 seconds.
Allowed Mac Allister to be free to shoot in 18yard box while there are 5defenders.
@NicerInPerson@piersmorgan No one is seeing what happened immediately after the England goal before Tuchel's subs. Players lacked the confidence to move forward with their play. That's not on the manager, I agree with you absolutely, Argentines were more determined, skilful, and tactical.
@BBCSport The players gave it all, at 70mins they struggled to press were tired. That's why Enzo kept shooting, & no one was quick to stop him.
Argentine strikers won headers because they made sure they were not behind the English defenders but in front, and their crosses were precise.
@SkySportsNews Allowed Enzo to take shots at 37th 47th, 84th (keeper saves), and second try at 84th minutes, which he eventually scored.
You have 6 defenders but still allowed Mac Allister free at 91st min to take a shot in 18yard box. These are not coaching errors.
@ConnCFC Exactly, plus he said in the past games when he tried to attack instead of defend the team conceded. I think we overrate some of the English players, they cannot retain a lead. Tactically and the desire to win, Argentine players are better. Plus, they have Messi.
Everyone turns Coach now that Tuchel has lost, but he did same kind of subs against Norway & Mexico and won both.
Tuchel used what he has, English players dont have that midfield to create/hold possession or absorb pressure after leading.
Argentina has Messi.
@Blue_Footy "Spain will never do what England did"...because they have the quality to retain enough possession after scoring.
Tuchel did this same kind of subs and won against Mexico and Norway.
