“We want to continue to build and consolidate the foundation on which Peter Obi laid in Anambra State.”
— Charles Soludo, acknowledging the foundation laid by Peter Obi in Anambra State. Sadly, politics appears to have turned that recognition into resentment toward a man who has done him no harm.
Peter Obi gave out 500 buses to schools in Anambra, he did that 13 years ago. All the buses were manufactured locally by Innoson.
Wike was the Minister of State for Education back then. He personally joined Governor Peter Obi to witness & flag off the distribution of computers, generators, & school buses to all the secondary schools in Anambra State.
Peter Obi donated ₦2.65 billion towards a Microsoft Academy. Then he launched a Microsoft connectivity program. He distributed 30,000 computers (including HP laptops).
He provided thousands of teachers with Microsoft certifications. He bought color printers, generators, & provided internet connectivity to hundreds of schools.
When he talks about investing in education, he means every sense of the word. All these happened as far back as 2013. 🤩🤩
The point of this post was ostensibly the need for Atikun and the old guard, the owners of Nigeria’s underdevelopment, to vacate the stage for a younger more capable and better qualified hands more attuned to this generation’s needs - Obi, Duke, Amechi, Sowore, Onor etc.
The responses under the post show the grotesque extremes to which many Nigerians have gone in assimilating its degenerate ethos and perverted regime of values. It’s as if there is something in them that invites degradation.
Under this mind warp, enlightened thinking is wanting, and there is hardly any love for country. It all boils down to Fayose’s “stomach infrastructure”. To self interest. And self interest does not build a nation.
I am a thinker. An intellectual. I think, so you don’t have to. You want to be free to be buggered by the people who pay you N20k or whatever your going price.
(Yeah, it must be about Peter Obi because I am a proud Igbo man. Barbarians!)
"He is the God who made the world. He also made everything in it. He is the Lord of heaven and earth. He doesn't live in temples built by human hands. He is not served by human hands. He doesn't need anything. Instead...– Acts 17:24-25 NIrV
Bible Verse: https://t.co/zqpRvsCPxI
So a brother sent the testimony of how he used to have high blood pressure from the age of 30 and that sometimes things got so bad that his head would be banging and his heart beating so fast and painfully that he would clutch his chest and cry in pain until he was rushed to the hospital.
He said he was eventually declared to have experienced heart failure and told that he would die within six months if he does not get a heart transplant
The doctor told him his heartbeat was gone and all he hears when he places a stethoscope on it was a hollow noise.
He did other tests and it was confirmed that his heart was gone.
This man was a Christian who converted from another religion to Christianity.
He said when he got home and informed his wife, she protested!
Before he knew it the news had flown to his parents and other relatives and they began to mock him that it was because he left his previous religion that their god struck him with heart failure.
He said he read the message sent to him by his father several times and tried to cry in pain and shame but instead of crying, he suddenly began to laugh hysterically as if he had gone out of his mind.
He said the more he tried to control the laughter, the more he laughed the more!
The laughter lasted for some hours to the point where he was rolling on the floor and tears streamed out of his eyes.
He said his wife thought he had gone crazy and began to weep with his two children while they watched him laugh.
He said the laughter stopped at about 9pm.
Then he heard in his heart, “Laughter is medicine”.
He said he didn’t even know it was written like that in the Bible at the time.
A month went by and a year went by. He went back to the same hospital for medical check up and the doctor asked him “How are you still alive?”
The doctor checked his heartbeat and it was there but faint.
The doctor checked his blood pressure and told him to be careful because he had low blood pressure.
He said he told the doctor that he had not enjoyed good health since he became an adult as he was enjoying at that time and since that time till today.
No more banging headaches, no more banging heartbeats, no more painful chest seizures and swallowing garlic and other remedies daily.
It’s been twelve years and he is still going strong daily.
Glory!!!!!
Another testimony I got today.
This lady was born blind and had to attend the school for the blind from childhood till she turned fifteen.
Then a pastor came to their school to minister and the pastor preached about Jesus and the gift of salvation.
She said she gave her life to Jesus that day and at night she saw a vision just before she slept of her walking with Jesus in a garden.
She slept off thinking she had died and gone to heaven.
She woke up the next morning and her two eyes were opened to see all by themselves.
No special prayers, no healing line, no medical intervention etc
After it was confirmed that she could see, her parents noticed that her eyes balls were darting rapidly left and right as they were unstable. Constantly vibrating and shaking.
They took her to an ophthalmologist who checked her properly for over five hours and kept asking her how she was seeing.
It turns out that her optic nerve (cranial nerve II) was not there. (She was not born with it and it does not exist) so how come she could see?
The doctor also noticed other faults with her retina and cornea which no surgery could correct in any form.
The ophthalmologist predicted that it was phantom sight and that she would go blind again in a few days.
It had been thirty years and she is still seeing!
My Lord Jesus!!!!!!
There is something that is killing our generation with respect to inter-gender relations. That is strength or the need to be seen as strong.
In projecting strength, many of you have desensitised yourselves from emotional attachment and vulnerability. In extreme instances, you become toxic. That is not healthy.
It is okay to be kind. It is okay to be nice. It is okay to be considerate. It is okay to have affection. It is okay to say "I love you." It is okay to say "I miss you." It is okay to apologize. It is okay to be vulnerable. You cannot love without being naked on all plane.
Kindness and compassion are not weakness. Consideration is not weakness. You are not a sucker for being honourable, for having integrity and for treating others with respect. Let's not destroy the fabric of society by losing our humanity. We need each other.
In every sphere of human relationship, there is an acceptable code of conduct. Please have healthy value system and stick to them.

Importantly, don't take people's grace and kindness for granted. Nobody is stupid for loving you, for treating you with respect, for being vulnerable with you, for forgiving you, for being nice. Returning a person's kindness towards you with a negative attitude is witchcraft. Do better! The relationships in our lives should inspire us to want to be better because we owe it to these people to do right by them. Nobody can do life alone. We are each other's life raft.
