I have credible information that because you people bashed INEC for their Planned Revalidation Exercise, they randomly picked certain places in the country and wiped data of their PVCs.
@Chude_ND1 Something wey we know since primary school na him you dey feel like say you're making sense. If I should resume Church today, na still Catholic Church I dey go. Idiot
Let me say something that will make APC people uncomfortable and Opposition people even more uncomfortable.
If Tinubu survives 2027, Nyesom Wike becomes the most powerful unelected man in Nigeria by 2031.
Wike does not need a title to control outcomes. He never did. As FCT Minister he already controls the capital, the courts, the contracts, and the conversations that happen in rooms where real decisions are made. He has positioning.
But people are sleeping on something even more immediate. Wike is already the defacto governor of Rivers State. Fubara sits in Government House but everyone in that state knows who still holds the real levers. The courts, the local government structure, the party machinery. Wike did not leave Rivers. He just moved the office to Abuja.
And Rivers State is not just any state. It is the state that decides elections when the margins are tight and 2023 proved it. When Rivers went sideways, entire calculations collapsed. Any serious presidential candidate who does not have Rivers locked down is essentially running with one leg.
Wike has both legs planted there.
By 2031, he will have spent nearly a decade inside the federal power structure. He will know where every body is buried, who owes who, and which governor cannot sneeze without his approval. That kind of knowledge is not power but presidential, without the stress of running for it.
The real question is not whether Wike wants to be president. The real question is whether any serious candidate in 2031 can win without him. And right now, the honest answer is no.
Atiku needs the South South. Obi needs the establishment to stop fighting him. Any northern candidate needs a southern bridge. Wike is all three solutions wrapped in one very dangerous man.
The opposition spent 2023 fighting each other and handed Tinubu the presidency on a platter. If they spend 2027 doing the same, Wike will spend 2028 to 2031 collecting debts from every side. And the person who collects the most debts in Nigerian politics does not just influence the next president.
He becomes the King Maker.

I saw the Whatsapp status of someone now and I felt emotional for his journey, again.
The status picture is of him standing beside his car.
He also has a decent bungalow in the suburb of Abuja.
This was someone that came to Abuja less than 10 years ago and slept in a Mai Shayi kiosk for the first few months.
Came to Abuja after HND/NYSC without knowing anyone. Night fell and nowhere to stay. Begged an "aboki" tea seller to allow him sleep in his kiosk. That one accepted, but sleeping space can only become available after the guy closed the kiosk. 11pm
Bathroom was some wrapper covering wood/aluminium sheets few meters away and he needed to bath by 5am everyday before morning broke.
Needed to spend the day wandering around looking for job. And returned to Mai Shayi kiosk late night to sleep.
Not the conventional "first class, plenty-grammar" 9-5 graduate route. Just a hustler within the build industry (sites and all that) before getting his footing.
I have told the story before. But seeing the young man pose beside his car on his Whatsapp today brought back the emotion.
When the pens of critics terrorizes the rulers and maiguards of a country more than the guns of terrorist kidnappers of pubescent children and teachers, ruination and shame, are the lot of that country and its cretinous ruiners..🇳🇬🤔

Dear Inspector General of Police @TunjiDisu1@CspIniedu@PoliceNG

Concerns About Deteriorating Security
Two weeks have passed since schoolchildren were kidnapped in Borno and Oyo States, yet they remain in captivity. Meanwhile, the government is promoting the formation of a thousand-member rescue team through the media while the children continue to suffer in the wilderness.
Today, the security situation across the nation continues to deteriorate. On Sunday, terrorists killed at least seven people and injured ten others in Gwon-Ajang Village, located in the Foron District of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
In Kogi State, armed assailants kidnapped over 25 individuals and killed one resident during a coordinated raid on the Ayegunle-Igun Community in Kaba-Bunu Local Government Area. These heavily armed attackers carried out their operation in a commando-style manner, terrifying residents in the early hours of Monday.
In Anambra State, we also mourn the loss of two police officers who were killed in a bandit attack.
We still remember the painful incident in which armed individuals targeted three schools—Community Grammar School, Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School, and L.A. Primary School in the Ahoro-Esinle Community (Oriire Local Government Area near Ogbomoso)—and kidnapped 46 people, including 39 students, seven teachers, and the school principal.
On the same day, between 48 and 51 pupils and students in the Mussa Community (Askira-Uba Local Government Area) were abducted by suspected Boko Haram insurgents. The victims, who included young children from nursery classes as well as primary and secondary school students, were taken on May 15, 2026, and have now remained in captivity for two weeks.
Meanwhile, amid all these tragic developments, we politicians remain consumed by the next election, paying far more attention to political ambitions than to the safety and well-being of our children and fellow citizens.
In a nation that is not at war, the ongoing insecurity that endangers schoolchildren signifies a profound and serious challenge. -PO
