UK inflation, as measured by the consumer price index, fell from 10.1% during the year to March to 8.7% last month - a sharp fall, but still more than four-times the @bankofengland target.

On top of that, food price inflation was still at an eye-watering 19.1% in April.

Why?

The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation's index of global food prices was 127.2 last month, down from 158.4 in April 2022 - that's a FALL of 19.7%. So wholesale food prices have dropped steeply across the world.

I have no idea why food price inflation remains so high in the UK - and the read-out of yesterday's "summit" between @Jeremy_Hunt and food retailers gave no explanation either ....

News: The UK Govt have recently signed a £1 billion contract with Moderna to produce a mRNA influenza JAB. This deal will last for 10 years and has been agreed to BEFORE the results of the trials are published. Medical experts are also baffled that only 50 participants have been inclued in clinic trials. The phase 1 trials are being carried out at the University of North Carolina. The lipid nanoparticles have already been proven to spread and settle thoughout the ENITRE body, (see CV19 JAB). Of course the NIH in the US must know what they are doing?
