Big update on Pune-Shirur 6 Lane Elevated Corridor Project.

Another negative news coming in from #Maharashtra.

The 6 lane elevated corridor from Pune to Shirur on Pune-Ahmednagar highway has been cancelled and construction bids that were invited have been suspended.

Within last 1 week in Maharashtra, one expressway project has been put on hold, another one is facing extreme opposition and this elevated corridor has been cancelled!

Another sad news for #Maharashtra!

The upcoming Pune-Nashik Greenfield Expressway has been temporarily put on hold due to opposition from locals and MLAs and MPs from the areas where the alignment passes.

Looks like one more much needed expressway project in Maharashtra would bite the dust.
