@mediacitizenong I understand the emotions this film can make you feel, it made me feel something too, reminding me of the racial tension happening in my neighborhood, although it rarely occurs often, but it can still happen.
@1eesauce I completely agree with you, for no matter what progress we've made from the past to prevent police brutality from happening over and over, it still some how finds a way to manifest itself in recent times.
Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing (1989)" left me feeling a bit uneasy on the inside. I mean I know police brutality was from the past, but knowing that something similar to this can still happen today (perhaps not as common as it was) is still a concerning thought. #MEDIA1801D04
@Gretadmedia I agree with what you have said, we the people who use the internet should be free to talk to anyone from across the world instead of being separated by regional barriers.
@TayyCartiii Certainly, the government will just start removing any and all information that even remotely mentions them and the secret actions they are rumored to commit outside the public eye.
I believe that the FCC should not regulate the internet the same way it regulates network television. If we let that happen, think of all the chaoticness that made the internet what it is only for it to just be stripped down and turned into a bland corporate site. #MEDIA1801D04
@ChamberZuu Why yes, I too believe that Cable didn’t disrupted our sense of community, for as you say it, it has in fact brought different communities together instead of causing a disruption.
@zhixi857 I can agree with what you said, for Cable has brought this generation a whole load of new media that people from the past could’ve dreamed about and thought it was impossible to achieve.
For me, I believe that cable hasn't necessarily disrupted our connection as a community, for yes, it may have limited in-person interactions, it also increased the ability to interact with others from around the world, something that would've been impossible before. #MEDIA1801D04
@AlexanderC82X I too believe in your interpretation of the ad's message, for having the wrong person behind the wheel is as dangerous as having the wrong person wielding a gun.
@JuanHunter101 I agree with what you have said, for while an old can of beer can just be turned into a new can of beer, a teen can not be turned into a new teen.
This advertisement is directed towards both target audiences, but their meaning is changed. For the one by Pepsi, they’re saying that your Coke is just Pepsi in disguise, and for the the one by Coke, they’re saying that Pepsi looks up to Coke as more superior. #MEDIA1801D04
@crabundermyskin I too agree with what you said, for there are those few believe social media should remain the same as it was, instead of letting it evolve to suit modern times.
While I do feel as if social media is striding towards fostering democracy and freedom, a part of me believes there are still gaps in between this system. Gaps in which could allow unwanted media to seep through, and could result in a path of harm then foster. #MEDIA1801D04
