@zhixi857 I can't entirely agree with you because the government doesn't always have the best intrest for the civilians who live in the Country. So to say the supervision aims to ensure safety is a double standard because the government overuses its powers.
It's not necessary for the FCC to regulate the Internet, since the government would most likely limit the amount of information that we are able to access. As equivalent to placing a parental lock on your child's phone.. We would be doomed lol #MEDIA1801D04
@obeytechnology As you mentioned, primetime television shows such as American Idol create a sense of excitement about watching other primetime programs as well.
@jed_wedder59480 It is true that television has definitely contributed to the decline of face-to-face communication, however, on the bright side, people can now share similar interests in television shows and films.
The impact of cable on the sense of community can be seen in the fact that it encourages and unites families and friends to come togther while watching popular television shows. American societies and culture is also impacted through television. #MEDIA1801D04
@kawanumtom I totally agree, this ad is targeting the every day commuter's of New York City residents. While taking the train you no longer have to worry about your back being on fire when you can look up and see a great ad encouraging you to upgrade your mattress!
@Jason2834861692 I agree with you this ad is definitely set towards the gaming Community targeting not only children but adults who also enjoy playing pvp games.
This advertisement is directed towards people who play sports. The water bottle looks unpleasing, whereas the gatorade bottle looks to be made of stronger plastic and has a longer shelf life. This relates to how people feel after consuming these products. #MEDIA1801D04
@mediacitizenong Mis and Disinformation is spread and sometimes people do it without even knowing how it can impact other peoples lives. For example people just listen to word of mouth and run off those things when in reality they should research before posting on social media and other outlets.
@jeremiahbeaufi1 I agree with your tweet, I also believe that depending on which aspects you look at will determine your bias in the political system and in media. Having access to social media allows everyone to have a voice but the same access can be used by trolls which has negative effects.
Social media harms the political system of democracy and the principle of freedom. With the collection and use of personal data by social media platforms, the government can profile and target certain users for political purposes, which violates our freedom. #MEDIA1801D04
