@Cathrinmachin I love your work; but I really appreciate seeing your creative process too. (I'm pen & ink, but maybe some day I'll try properly painting too.)

@Cathrinmachin The original 1960s Enterprise design
(on which all other are based; instantly recognisable)
1970s/80s movies 'A' design
(for added detail)
80s/90s Next Generation 'D' design
(for epic scale)
These will have the broadest appeal - the others are probably too niche/divisive?
@bernabephoto My analogy: AI is to photography/art/Photoshopping, what a microwave ready-meal is to creating dinner from scratch.
Ethically, I think it's different to the comparison between unaltered photography and art/airbrushing/Photoshopping.
I agree it matters how it's presented though!
Artist’s sketch of a sparrow. From Deir el-Bahri, Thebes, Egypt, c. 1479–1458 BC.
Artists have always loved to sketch. In ancient Egypt, some 3,500 years ago, they used flakes of limestone as sketch pads rather than paper.

@StuartJRitchie Is there anything up-to-date on recording brain activity - comparing 'seeing' with 'imagining'?
(I have a very vague recollection of an experiment with 'locked-in' patients imagining playing tennis and using that particular brain activity as a way to communicate, but prob wrong!)

An equatorial mount kept the stars pinpoint sharp during the four-minute exposure.
@ceciliapeartree I like your writing set-up in your conservatory - I'm thinking I should set myself up in my kitchen with a view of the garden to do my writing...
Well, who could have ever guessed that introducing a tool that automates the very thing your customers have created their work around might jeopardise your own business structure?
