HELP

I’ve got a new client that’s wants me to write a script for a podcast, and I’m not sure what to charge. It’s 12 pages with 4 characters and a narrator. I’ve done similar work, but typically the payment was already set.

What should I charge?

Transgender Awareness Week is a week when transgender people and their allies take action to bring attention to the community by educating about who transgender people are, sharing stories and experiences, and advancing advocacy around that affect the transgender community.

@JonasLeft @agletterman So, in that instance I would choose the latter. I’d prefer to be obscure, lost to oblivion than to write a work that is potentially harmful. Plus, I’ve never been motivated by money. If I can make a modest living writing. I’ll take it every time, if it means I keep my values.

@JonasLeft @agletterman Well, I suppose it depends how we interpret ‘selling out’. To me it means comprising convictions, values, or beliefs. I would never write something say, that would be detrimental to the perception of another group of people. Something sexist, racist, or homophobic.
