@sadieOX360 ...regarding the transition, I think it's just because of my shaders that made it look not so smooth. Without it, the same pattern on the background is visible on the portal which allows it to switch between screens better.
I have not played Minecraft as my main game for a while but still boot it up every now and then to test stuff...
...I didn't know the background of the end credits was no longer dirt???
Welp, turns out the reason why it doesn't work anymore is because Mojang's Vulkan implementation and VulkanMod both use VK_KHR_DYNAMIC_RENDERING which is apparently not supported on Vulkan versions lower than 1.2.197.
...my old GPU is stuck at 1.2.170 lol
Didn't know Mojang already released a snapshot that has the Vulkan renderer.
I tested it on my old PC and...
...it has the same issue as VulkanMod for some reason where it doesn't detect I have Vulkan 1.2 lol
...VulkanMod crashes the game while this just falls back to OpenGL
Huh, on iOS 27 Beta 3, for some reason, liquid glass elements no longer adapt to the background for me. Whether the background is light mode or dark, it just stays at dark mode for me now.
For comparison, this is how it used to behave in:
Beta 2 vs Beta 3
can’t believe wwdc is less than two days away and a new iOS version will be announced again
while here’s ios 26 on my phone with a landscape mode notification center clock that can’t figure out whether it wants to be left-aligned, right-aligned, or centered
Another thing I kinda wished we have is a slider for the brightness of the liquid glass elements as well.
I kinda prefer the dark tinted liquid glass on iOS 26 over what’s on the new update which looks light even on dark mode.
