@ThrillaRilla369 Remember when TV went off at 10pm? The national anthem played on BBC, on all channels the screen faded to a test card, and we made tea instead of scrolling. Three channels back then, BBC1, BBB 2 & ITV. I’m 50 now — feels like another world. ☕📺 UK
@JohnnyMercerUK@MilitaryBanter Failures often emerge from not one single act of negligence, but from the systematic shortcomings spanning government, civil service, and the military chain of command. Moral courage requires speaking truth to power, yet warnings are not raised or ignored.#Accountability ##Ethics
@JohnnyMercerUK Lost me in the first 4 words. In 2021, BBC said you told Newsnight you were “sacked by text” after offering to resign Wed 21 Apr but refusing to go early. Johnson accepted your resignation Tue 20 Apr. I never know what to believe — every story seems to have multiple versions.
@BlockCic All men’s faces are blocked out in picture above. The woman’s face is there for all public to see. I would not go near, as women obviously treated differently to men! Never a good sign.
@TheBritishIntel Moved 225miles for better NHS Feb 2025. Joined surgery with GP appts available, weekends & evenings also, walk in surgery on a morning.
Changed last week. No walk in appts allowed, must be phone calls only, doctor must ring and triage - government ruling. Government ruling.
MoD gags military veterans after finally settling Lariam cases - “A freedom of information request by my firm revealed they spend £20 million a year just on legal costs defending claims from soldiers and veterans.’ https://t.co/RNOGwCryzI
@AlistairCarns@VeteransGovUK But does that include those discharged after reporting sexual offences / inappropriate behaviour?
I was isolated, forced to work alongside perpetrator after RNP informed me he admitted everything, for over a yr. 7 yrs of MoD action. Now terminally ill. Do people like me get help?
@FennellJW Leadership by example is rare in the MoD. Civilian & MoD staff change rules behind closed doors with no accountability. Many, like me, were pushed out for reporting wrongdoing; others leave in frustration. The question is: where do we begin reforming the UK Armed Forces?
@JohnnyMercerUK Serving are classed as cannon fodder. What I did not realise until I became one, veterans are fair game & cannon fodder also. So many problems recruiting & retaining people, wonder why in this digital age with information at the finger tips🤔
Interesting. Think I am line 3. All RN ‘barracks’ start ‘HMS’, therefore all ‘at sea’. Perpetrator admitted offence, court martial 4 x sexual assault, relabelled sexual harassment. I was never promoted - as refused to ‘give career manager blowjob to go on course’. @SaluteHerUK
@DrProudman In my case the perpetrator admitted everything. He got a big support package as ‘he had family, go home & think of that’. I got none—no medical, legal, or victim support. The system is built to fail ‘the complainer’. ‘Victim’ isn’t even in the legislation.
@DrProudman My mum died Nov 2023, left a trust will with solicitor as trustee. Trust never established, half a million in estate ‘gone’ on solicitors fees & who knows what. Not allowed to see accounts. SRA rejected without looking at it. Protectors of solicitors or protectors of society?
@NickBuckleyMBE@recusant_raja Why? Because it’s classed as a “normal everyday event.” Public services: sexual offences, misconduct, bullying… nothing changes. Look deeper into legislation, no such thing as ‘a victim’, called ‘complainer’. So the cycle continues. The abnormal becomes normal.
@MYH_ldn@SarahCactus1 I submitted right to review as shutting down case for nonsense reason, upheld! Dragged out another 2.5yr, put me to work alongside perpetrator, then stopped all support & sent me 220m from friends&family.Went to court martial alone.Royal Navy won, I was discharged. Same end result
@tarquindemeza@daveatherton@SBarrettBar SRA do not investigate wrong doings, protect the public, leading to the question, protectors of ‘legal professional’s’ or protectors of general society?
Look at Trustpilot to read a theme of legal professional’s not investigated or held to account.
Stop calling her crazy.
You pushed her to the breaking point.
You ignored her when she tried to communicate.
You dismissed her feelings for months.
You lied to her face repeatedly.
You disrespected her boundaries daily.
You made her question her own reality.
You gaslighted her until she couldn't trust herself.
Then act shocked when she snaps.
Then call her dramatic when she finally reacts.
Then label her crazy when she breaks down.
Then act like you don't know why she's upset.
You created the storm then complained about the rain.
You lit the match then blamed her for the fire.
You poked the bear then called it aggressive.
Her reaction is not the problem, your actions are.
Her anger is valid, your behavior caused it.
Her breakdown is reasonable, your treatment created it.
Her response makes sense, your choices don't.
Stop making her the villain for reacting to your chaos.
Stop calling her unstable when you're the one creating instability.
Stop labeling her emotional when you're the one being emotionally abusive.
A calm woman doesn't just become "crazy" overnight.
She becomes broken by someone who claims to love her.
You don't get to break someone then judge how they heal.
@BarristerSecret I reported July 2014, perpetrator admitted. Investigation dragged out for 2.5yrs, took my phone, I had to report to police when leaving area etc. Court Sept 2016, not guilty all counts. I lost my job, career, pension & much more.
Would you report?
@KLawrencece62@Fremean@nightrider20244 I spoke to a few, one said ‘say claim asylum on landing’, thanked me for free iPhone, year in nice hotel, all meals provided, money to visit places, paid £3000 to go home with more money to buy a house and start a business.
Made it sound so normal, like holiday with freebie’s!
