I joined @krystalmball and @esaagar to talk about our amazing grassroots fundraising and the broad coalition we’re building for the people of Ohio-11.
Our movement is about the people. Anyone willing to stand up for human dignity is welcome to join 💜
Biden not only was the senator from and for corporations registered in Delaware for many decades, he remains their man now. An acute Chicago lawyer (@GoodmanLen) makes that case.

"Conservatives" like to worry about government deficits but carefully avoid supporting taxes on the superrich that could let the government fund social needs without running up deficits.

Return of slave working conditions in today's US: chicken workers are one example.
Capitalism under pressure returns to worst past practices. Meanwhile Chinese workers wages keep rising.
Has the prosperity torch been passed?

I still #StandWithFarmers and support their peaceful protest.
No amount of hate, threats or violations of human rights will ever change that. #FarmersProtest

The program is a key part of the story we told in Message From the Future.
There have been days when it's been hard to believe it could still come true. But it can. https://t.co/pLFVdW9bTG
@NaomiAKlein’s brilliance “The world went nuts for Bernie’s sullen inauguration posture because he was keeping alive the hope that there is still moral opposition to concentrated power & money in the U.S. — at a time when we need it more than ever." https://t.co/gz1TmIP7NQ
For too long our country has prioritized corporate profits, tax cuts for the rich and military spending over investing in the American people.
That is what I will fight to change as Senate Budget Committee Chairman.
Some people supported slavery if it was kind, conscious, pure, competitive or free-market.
That fooled some anti-slavery folks, but when enough saw the master-slave system itself as the problem, it was overcome.
The same applies to capitalism, the employer-employee system.
More data exposing flaws and failures of US capitalism: "recovery" from the 2008-2010 crash has depended on unsustainably rising debt (much as rising debt led to the crash).

Utilities shutting down coal for renewables + storage save hundreds of millions of dollars: For PacifiCorp, the largest grid operator in the US West, the savings from early closures could reach $248 million
The math is the same everywhere else worldwide

If the Walton family listens to what @BernieSanders has to say, I hope they will explain why they believe it is good for U.S. taxpayers to subsidize Walmart's poverty wages & force workers onto public assistance while they are worth over $170 billion. https://t.co/lCQYVEyFYa
Remember, Clinton was also impeached - that failed in Sen too. Our institutions didn’t suffer then, but they have been damaged greatly today w unwillingness to impeach.
Whether it’s Dem fear or GOP recklessness, doesn’t matter. Failure to impeach now is neglect of due process.
Just as what happens in the House doesn’t control Senate, what happens in the Senate shouldn’t control the House.
DoJ outlined ev of 10 criminal instances. Pres is now obstructing legally binding subpoenas.
We need to do our job & vote on impeachment. What Sen does is on them.
It is obvious Secretary DeVos wants to dismantle and privatize public education. No wonder she calls unions and local governments an "empire" to defeat. Our communities need an advocate for public education, not a billionaire advancing the interests of for-profit industry.
Update on 4 new reactors formerly at vanguard of US “nuclear renaissance”
