@ProjectLincoln@TheRickWilson@howardlutnick It’s faked. It’s from a Trump Vance press conference in the past. Did you know it was faked and still post this question, or were you gullible? I normally appreciate Lincoln Project but this shakes my confidence in your posts.
@DevinOlsenn Are there any fsd accidents on social media with the v14 software? V13?
Do people self censor or are they just not that regular? I mean there must be some accidents…. other cars can always take you out because…. physics. I’d love to see one that a human could avoid.
@dillonloomis I’m an outsider in Australia. I respect your intelligence and decency but I think your views might be misinformed. The dems are the same as the republicans, they have extremist morons in both parties. The vast overwhelming majority do NOT support violence.
@cybrtrkguy Nah I think that is a misunderstanding. The driver profile it refers to is those ‘sloth - hurry’ ones.
Nice idea though. I’d love to be wrong.
@irespectonline@Scobleizer@Tesla@UnpluggedTesla@Waymo No. Tesla cameras detect where the other drivers are and turn off the led’s that would shine into their eyes. You can see the actively tracking pockets of lower light for the other cars as you drive. I never get flashed by other cars now I drive a Tesla.
@techAU Lane bias!!! Wots the go with that? Autopilot stolidly sticks to the very centre even if there is a wobbling great truck beside you. Does FSD move away when possible to the edge of the lane like any sane driver does?
@techAU TACC has plenty of spots where map data about speeds creates a massive sudden slowdown to the consternation of all involved. Eg slowimg to 60 on a 100 highway because there is an underpass with 60 limit below it.
Does FSD?
@AIDRIVR ASSUMPTION: Steering torque is driver torque.
BUT: FSD can apply steering torque.
I THINK it was driver but the VDR doesn’t specify if driver or FSD supplied the torque…. as far as I know.
Alternative scenario is FSD swerved then disengaged.
@EffettoTesla Yeah but I think people get a bit overhyped about things…. it is almost certainly not responding to hand signals. Let’s celebrate its amazing capabilities without overblowing it. Btw let me say thanks for your excellent work in presenting FSD news. Much appreciated.
@DrTeslaFSD@Tesla_AI@wholemars@chuckcook I’m as keen to see it do stuff like that as anyone…. but I don’t believe that is FSD responding to hand signals. It’s simply a person in its way (even off to the side slightly is enough) who eventually moves out of the way. Let’s be real.
@chuckcook@cybertruck Cant wait to see you show this off. Really appreciate all you do to take us along on this fascinating tech journey. Just wanna publicly say you are doing valuable work. Some people are fair dinkum and you sir, are one of ‘em. Thanks heaps.
@Eric8533467@ZADDY0x@wholemars@Tesla@Tesla_AI@elonmusk And yet here in Australia with wide roads similar to USA they work great. I hate stoplights. At a roundabout we can generally just wait a few seconds then proceed through. They work fine if the drivers aren’t ignorant arseholes.
