It is a disaster, people searching public bins for empties which is very sad , practically insisting we donate with the return funds , the returns shipped abroad to recycle , the cost of the machines , the cost to run them ? Has anyone 1/2

Today marks the first birthday of the Deposit Return Scheme, one of the most positive and transformative initiatives.

980 million containers returned and almost 50% reduction in bottles/cans being littered.

Thanks to everyone who supported the scheme.
