THE TINUBU PIVOT TO CHINA — AND WHY WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE NIGERIA

Tinubu is pulling Nigeria out of America's reach and into China's arms, on purpose, to make our pressure on the genocide irrelevant before it can bite. We are about to lose Africa's anchor state to Beijing and the caliphate at the same time, and the window to stop it is closing by the month.

Their own side said the quiet part out loud. The day after our Christmas strike on Sokoto, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, one of the north's most influential clerics, called it a "neo-Crusade war against Islam," told Abuja to cut military ties with the United States, and named the replacements: China, Turkey, and Pakistan. Those powers are already moving in.

The scale is not theoretical. In 2025, Chinese construction commitments to Nigeria hit $24.6 billion — up from $1.8 billion the year before, a thirteenfold jump, and the largest of any country on earth. In September 2024 Beijing raised Nigeria to its highest partnership tier, the one it reserves for Russia and Pakistan. Nigeria is bidding for BRICS with Chinese backing. It renewed its currency swap with Beijing and asked to expand it. Its banks now settle directly in yuan, off the dollar rails. This is the largest foreign-policy realignment in Nigeria's history, and it is moving fast.

This is why sanctions alone will fail. They run on the dollar; the currency swap and yuan settlement route around it. They bite a government with no other banker; China is now the banker. The pivot is a shock absorber — built so that whatever Washington restricts, Beijing replaces. We have to stop assuming financial pressure on Abuja still works the way it did five years ago.

And the regime we are pressuring is not just dodging us — it is paying the killers. Chinese miners pay "rent" to the Fulani militias to work the land the massacres clear. The National Security Adviser's own office has armed those militias. The minerals flow to China, the protection money flows to the killers and their institutional backers, and the cleared ground becomes the next mine. Chinese capital now bankrolls the political class that runs the whole machine.

This is not a country we can write off. Nigeria is Africa's largest economy and largest oil producer, and it is on track to be the third most populous nation on earth by 2050 — one of the decisive states of the century. We cannot afford to let it be hijacked by China and radical Islam at the same moment. That is not a regional setback. It reshapes the global board.

The answer is not to out-bid Beijing or to keep firing sanctions that miss. It is not to keep propping up a corrupt regime under a constitution designed to keep the people under control of the Caliphate. It is to break the stranglehold itself.

Investigate the Sokoto Caliphate network for terrorist designation and confront the source of the violence directly.

>> Force out the truth the regime is hiding with a U.S.-backed census of the millions of denied displaced, which builds the genocide case and unlocks international aid being withheld.

>> Continue to target the jihadis — and widen the scope to include the Fulani militia known to be the most prolific killers. Wipe them out without mercy.

>> Cut the propaganda line by barring lobbying on behalf of any Country of Particular Concern.

>> And guarantee a free, honest 2027 election with a constitutional referendum — not merely observe it — so the Nigerian people can take their own country back.

Free the people from the stranglehold and help them rise, and China loses the chaos it feeds on. That is how we keep Nigeria — and earn a true, lasting ally in an increasingly dangerous part of the world.

It’s hard to comprehend how evil this is.

The sultan knows full well that in the revered teachings of his forefather Dan Fodio, fully aligned with what Muhammemad himself taught, no infidel (Christian) or a apostate (non-Jihad Muslim) is considered “innocent.” In fact, it is their religious obligation to completely subjugate or kill them.

So when he tells them it’s a sin to kill “innocent” people, he’s not telling them to stop killing people you and I consider innocent. Like, peaceful people who just want to be left alone. No, it’s open season on them.

What he’s actually telling the jihadis is not to fight amongst themselves. They shouldn’t kill each other. They are the only “innocent” ones.

Yet his statement is craftily worded to sound to the world like he’s a man of peace. Imagine.

What’s worse is that President Tinubu knows this, and still celebrates him for saying it. Innocent, schminnocent, just have your people vote for me and keep that blood mineral money and heroin pipeline flowing.

Sick.

Mr. @sultan_ofsokoto, please, correct me if I’m wrong. Come out with a statement calling on everyone under your spiritual authority to stop killing anybody for any reason. To back it up, how about you turn over the names and locations of all the ones you know who are guilty or complicit? You said not long ago, not one person gets killed in your kingdom without the local rulers knowing. How about you speak and take action against the vast looting of blood minerals in your Kingdom?

Somewhere in Abuja, a government official in NSA Nuhu Ribadu's office wrote a check for $9 million to a Washington firm called DCI Group. Four and a half million up front. To fix Nigeria's image in America.

I have seen what they got for it, because the law makes them file the work. Buckle up.

A clip-art tree. A Canva flyer. AI cartoons that look like they were ordered off a gas-station menu. Email blasts with the engagement of a dial tone. I started #DCIRefund yesterday after they dropped a meme so cheap I assumed it was a parody account run by a bored teenager. Nope. That is the deliverable. Nine million dollars, and the creative budget apparently went to one guy and a free trial of Canva.

But the crown jewel is their star witness. DCI is very upset that I "smeared an independent journalist." Independent. Hold my coffee.

Their independent journalist went on a guided stooge tour and came back with copy so glowing you would think Nigeria was a spa retreat. Garden of Eden stuff. Meanwhile 1,402 people were massacred. And the funniest part — the part their own federal filing coughs up in black and white — is that "independent" comes with a price tag. More than $54,000 of Nigeria's money, one line labeled, and I am not making this up, "Retainer."

That is the whole campaign in one word. They paid for independence and forgot to delete the receipt.

So Nigeria's government pays a guy to write the brochure, pays a firm to email it around, and the dangerous one in this story is the missionary who never took a dime. Got it. Makes total sense. Airtight.

They were just getting warmed up. They also put Roger Stone on the payroll as a "consultant" — because nothing says "we are the credible ones" like Roger Stone. And they spent good money mailing out dinner invitations with Nigeria's First Lady, like a Beltway version of a timeshare pitch. Come for the brie and chablis, stay for the perception management.

When all that failed, they reached into the bottom of the barrel and pulled out a debunked, decades-old political hit against a pastor I am proud to call my friend. That is not opposition research. That is a firm out of ideas billing by the hour.

And here is the kicker. After $9 million, the posts get no clicks, the memes get ratioed, and the whole thing reads like it was reverse-engineered to embarrass the client. They are betting President Trump cannot tell the difference between his own supporters and a paid foreign front. The President reads people for a living. He has seen smoother operators than this at a flea market.

Here is a thought, since math is clearly not their strong suit. For that same $9 million, I could teach and feed 45,000 displaced children for a year. My friend Alex Barbir — another one they keep smearing — could build more than 6,000 houses for them. Real roofs over real heads.

Even with your sociopathic, evil little hearts, surely you can run the numbers on that one. Feeding children and building houses gets you better press, better international relations, and a better showing at the polls than flushing the money down the swamp toilet in Washington for amateur hit-pieces and boring AI graphics. Worth a try? Or is the grift the whole point.

The contract is up for renewal this month. So here is my professional advice to whoever signed it, free of charge — which is already a better deal than DCI gave you: get your money back. You can buy a lot with $9 million. Clearly not talent. Definitely not the truth. And apparently not even a decent meme.

What does CAN stand for again?

Christian Association of Nigeria? Or maybe Cowards Amassing Naira? Or Crooks Astray in Nigeria? After this week, it’s genuinely hard to tell.

Black Sunday. Big solemn statement. Lots of language about “forces of evil” and “resilience” and the urgent need for prayer.

The wolf is eating the sheep.

CAN is telling the sheep to look the other direction.

Jesus called out the Pharisees for their phylacteries — those little scripture boxes they strapped to their foreheads so the crowd could see how holy they were. Made them extra wide. Made sure they caught the light. Look at us. Look at how we stand for God.

Meanwhile the sheep were being slaughtered and they were counting the offerings.

CAN has mastered the phylactery.

The statements. The solemn observances. The Black Sunday press releases with all the right words in all the right order. The interfaith banquets. The titles and the platforms and the cameras.

But Paul told you what this fight actually is.

Ephesians 6:12. Written from a prison cell. “We do not wrestle with flesh and blood — we wrestle with principalities, with powers, with rulers of darkness, with spiritual forces of wickedness in high places.”

That verse is not a permission slip to stay vague. It is a command to go deeper. To identify the spirit behind the spear. To name it. To call it out. To confront it.

That is what spiritual leaders are for.

The spirit behind the slaughter in Nigeria has a name. It has a doctrine, a throne, and a 222-year track record. It is not hiding. The men who serve it announce it from the rooftops and write it in their founding documents.

It is called Islamic Jihad.

For some reason, CAN cannot say those two words. So instead, the flock gets “forces of evil” and “resilience” and a prayer for President Tinubu’s wisdom and determination. Resilience. Unity. Prayer.

Look over here, sheep. Not over there at the wolf devouring your brothers and sisters.

That is not a shepherd. That is a distraction.

John 10: “The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away.” The hired hand sees the wolf and runs. Sometimes straight into the arms of the government that feeds it.

Jesus called this crowd whitewashed tombs. Brood of vipers. I’ll add: Cowards. Hirelings. And in too many cases — bloodsucking dragons in a collar, more worried about the offering plate than the blood on the floor.

Nigeria’s Christians are not dying for lack of prayer. They are dying because the men God positioned between them and the wolf keep turning them around to face the other way.
