@DrEilidhMaria Understandable. But it’s your conveyancers who aren’t doing their job, which is to resolve the dispute, bread and butter for a solicitor. A different solicitor to sort it may extend patience. Contact some partners directly on their individual email tomorrow and see what they say.
@DrEilidhMaria The other solicitor should be a named partner at a reputable firm, paid by the hour, and a residential conveyancing specialist. Nothing delegated to the usual paralegals etc.
@DrEilidhMaria It doesn’t fall through till the other party instructs so, and even then there is time to reverse. Consider instructing a second experienced independent solicitor solely to answer the question and resolve the matter, including telling the other party to please wait.
@hafiz_ngn Most people know that I think! Not many know the same shops have extended Sunday hours for online purchase with delivery. Can be really handy if you need something but the shop is ‘closed’.
@Andrew_Stevenso@seanhannam Ah, seems you still don’t get it. They weren’t late for the performance. Early entry is a discounted ticket, like off-peak, which is chosen and bought. This has to be enforced for the system to work. It’s not new, dance or club nights especially done it for 20 years or so.
@SwedishRealEst@thealexbear@f1autocentres Ha, still better than F1! Though in my experience, taxi drivers fit (budget) new tyres at the most reliable and quickest place in town. My sample is small, a few towns/cities, but always been impressed. And yes I have put some serious tyres on some high performance cars.
@seanhannam@Andrew_Stevenso Of course they’d rightly be refused entry. They bought the cheaper ticket with a clear last entry time. At least they are offered the chance to pay the difference and a penalty to still get in.
@IonaItalia Interesting Dawkins vs Arday cos is Dawkins actually autistic? Remember him tweeting about reading Kafka’s Metamorphosis and he had taken it literally as a comic-book absurdity so didn’t get it? I think this and his simple anti-religion takes do come across as ‘thick’ in respects
@RichardDawkins The department puts its ethos into practice at the free University of Cambridge Primary School. At launch, parents scrambled to get their kids there but its reputation locally is deservedly bad and at odds with the branding (academic chops are not highly valued).
@KirstieMAllsopp Get a Miele vented unit while they’re still legal. I’ve bought one and put it in storage. Heat pump models are widely panned by most users for the reason you say.
