Instead he passed a sentence for her to be executed for the crime of Adultery and Chastity.(The poor girl was raped and tortured in captivity)

In defiance of her death sentence, she tore off her hijab and threw it at his feet.
On August 15, 2004, she was publicly hanged from a crane in Neka's town square. (The judge himself later admitted to raping and torturing her during interrogations.)

I finally watched #TheKeralaStory2, and I wasn’t prepared for how deeply it would unsettle me.
Not just because of what the film shows but because of how badly some people wanted it stopped.

All those slogans about “freedom of art” and “don’t like it, don’t watch it” suddenly disappear here.
That contradiction was as loud as the film itself.

Seeing it play in cinemas across INDIA after so many attempts to block it felt symbolic like expression surviving pressure.

This isn’t comfort cinema.
It doesn’t try to please.
It leaves you DISTURBED , questioning, and more alert than before.

I walked out shaken… and thinking.

This case from Bhopal is shocking and very painful to read.

In Bhopal, a 21-year-old girl says two sisters, Afreen and Amreen, trapped her with a fake job offer, She trusted them, she says they took her to their home, gave her drugs and then her life turned into a nightmare, She says she was sexually assaulted, blackmailed with photos and threatened so she would stay silent, She also says she was pressured to change her religion and wear a burqa

She was young and looking for work, she was forced to meet rich men, taken to pubs and made to do things against her will, She says multiple men abused her while she was trapped and scared, They used fear and shame to control her

In January, she somehow escaped, On February 22, she went to the police and filed a complaint, That takes serious courage. After that, another woman came forward with a similar story and even gave video proof, That shows this may not be a single incident 😶

लखनऊ में 42 साल के संदीप कुमार का 7 फरवरी को एक्सीडेंट हो गया। पीजीआई में इलाज चला लेकिन कुछ सुधार नहीं हुआ। 22 फरवरी को उनका ब्रेन डेड हो गया।

ब्रेन डेड के बाद डॉक्टरों ने संदीप की पत्नी से अंग दान की बात कही। पहले तो वह नहीं मानी लेकिन जब बड़े डॉक्टरों ने कहा कि अंग दान से कई जान बच सकती है तो संदीप की पत्नी और उनका परिवार राजी हो गया।

डॉक्टरों ने तेजी दिखाई और शरीर के अंग निकाले। पुलिस से बात हुई थी, उन्होंने पीजीआई से लेकर केजीएमयू तक ग्रीन कॉरिडोर बना दिया। मतलब ट्रैफिक को रोक दिया। 18 मिनट में 19 किलोमीटर का सफर तय हो गया।

केजीएमयू में डॉक्टर पहले से ही तैयार थे। उन्होंने ट्रांसप्लांट किया। लीवर केजीएमयू में भर्ती मरीज को लगा। दोनों किडनियां पीजीआई में भर्ती दो अलग-अलग मरीजों को मिलीं। दो अन्य लोगों की आंखों की रोशनी लौट आई।

इस तरह से 5 लोगों को नई जिंदगी मिल गई।
