Little idea to expose regret as a lie and embrace your past. Do you know chaos theory? ๐

@DarthBuzzard@ItsGoharr@stufflistings natural progressions tends towards things being easier, VR-related stuff is generally more work and prep than most other types of media use so it can't be as popular.
Maybe this solves some specific social need others don't cover but the augmentation layers still seem uncanny
@craviottx react native is cool but kinda bloated as its built on so many layers. I've been gravitating towards flutter for native apps, it seems like a simpler codebase to manage and fully controlled by the framework developers
@brdrck@OpacityHQ Awesome, really love these lofi animations but it's never clear what's the best way to implement them.
Also, is this another design tool built just to support react and tailwind? I've started using Pen (previously Pencil) for its simplicity and git versioning
@BalintFerenczy I thought the point was to be able to scale the UI at the app level instead of expecting users to zoom around between pages and on diff devices. If someone generally prefers a larger UI they can set their default font size once in browser settings and expect everything to adapt
@emilkowalski but now that AI is ubiquitous, and the popular editors relied on volunteers making extensions anyway, doesn't seem like the core product will get much more improvement aside from agentic stuff
@emilkowalski honestly, some of these things we're getting used to using AI for are things I would've expected IDEs to eventually do, like showing some descriptive context/debugging for your project just based on the existing code, or being able to do quick ui changes with a visual editor
@bitfragmentlabs@alex_prompter because why are they still being indexed? I'd assume no pages should have indexing enabled except for the main landing pages, login, support etc.
@petegarber@avstorm it's the world's most recognized brand, something like 98% recognition iirc, changing their logo is the last thing they should ever do afaict. It'll mainly be packaging
@flornkm I'm seen it around but never bothered to try coz whenever I try to use some modern css it ends up with compatibility issues (I wish Safari would go away). Also, the example looks like the use case for media queries, I haven't seen resizable modals.
@JoshuaKhane Google does the same and even if it's their mistake to wrongly tag and close an account they won't recover it.
If you plan to backup huge anounts of valuable data I think a personal disk array connected to your network would be better, HDDs aren't (weren't) that pricy afaik
@ImNotAV1rus@Avasam06@drummatick it's a bad assumption that the most common features are good features, otherwise good design wouldn't rly stand out. Most existing projects are pretty old and many lack expertise and polish. The LLMs might not get context about how diff designs match diff demographics/application
@Interlukein4 AFAICT it's largely account data and cached data, like if you're logged into multiple accounts it'll bloat a lot, then there's cached posts and things saved locally like filters downloaded. Nowadays it might include on-device models idk.
@Zephyrus1783 @messeduppcs I've used Macbooks a little bit and I'm surprised how bad the GUI is in terms of functionality. It seems good for either just launching things from the dock or using the terminal, but everyday things like browsing your files and the tools in the file explorer are so limited
