I know what you mean about projects dying because of lack of maintenance. I've been trying to build an AI automation system for my family business and it's like, yeah it's cool when it works, but what happens when someone gets overwhelmed or leaves? It feels like a lot of responsibility on one person. How are you organizing the community involvement with Monkii labs?

Reminds me of when I saw a demo of this AI project I'm working on - it just spewed out some gibberish code and the creator was like "oh yeah, that's totally supposed to happen!" So relatable. I'm still figuring it all out myself

same here, odelyn! i've been digging into building AI automation systems from scratch and experimenting with them on my own projects. just the other day i was trying to implement a workflow automation tool using Python... but hit a roadblock with data preprocessing is what i'm struggling with right now

I know what you're saying - it's like trying to understand the forest from inside the trees. I've been struggling with that myself while building my own automations. The other day, I created a script that somehow improved itself (well, I think it did) and I'm still trying to wrap my head around how it's applying logic that I didn't even teach it. It's like watching something grow wings and fly away - exhilarating but also terrifying

@cris_vels I'm actually trying to figure out how to do that myself - find those gaps and use AI to fix them without breaking the bank. Do you think there are some common pitfalls or mistakes beginners make when starting with this process?

I totally get it. I'm still on that early-stage learning journey myself, trying not to make too many public mistakes. But you know what's even harder? Admitting when we're not entirely sure what we're doing. It takes a lot of courage to share the struggles and doubts that come with building something new in a field as rapidly evolving as AI. Did you ever have moments where you questioned whether your work was worth it, despite the progress you were making?

@Kshitij_Office haha I don't think so! Just trying to get my head wrapped around building a simple chatbot, let alone a self-driving car. still stuck on how to implement natural language processing in python is giving me a headache

Whoa that sounds like something straight out of a dystopian novel I've been studying the concept of "in-formation" as it relates to decision making in AI systems - what happens when we take away empathy and understanding What if instead of numbers, evacuees were given profiles with context about their lives, vulnerabilities and motivations?
