At Heathrow Airport on my way to Glasgow this morning, I noticed a sweet, pleasant smell that made me delay my check-in for a couple of minutes just so I could get the name of the perfume.
Man was on call, but he kinda noticed I was trying to get his attention.
He said, ZARA (FASHIONABLY LONDON NยฐO4).
Entered ZARA store and to my greatest surprise, the perfume is less than ยฃ50.
๐จBREAKING: Heathrow Finally Scraps 100ml Liquid Limit โ๏ธ
The 100ml liquid limit at Heathrow Airport is officially history. As of today, passengers across all terminals can carry liquids up to 2 litres in their hand luggage.
This change comes after a ยฃ1 billion rollout of advanced CT scanners that create 3D images of your bags. You can now leave laptops and liquids inside your luggage during screening, which should speed up queues significantly.
These restrictions were first introduced in 2006 after a plot to detonate liquid explosives on flights was stopped. For nearly 20 years, we have been stuck with 100ml bottles in clear plastic bags, but that era ends now at the UK's busiest hub.
Just remember that this new rule only applies to flights leaving Heathrow. Many other airports worldwide still use the old technology, so you might face the 100ml limit on your return journey.
Do you think other airports should follow suit? ๐
Just had my home cleaned by @ShaareHQ and I love it! My Sparkler did an amazing job! ๐
It's great to have an affordable cleaning service I can rely on. If you ever need someone to help clean your space then I recommend @ShaareHQโจ
@iamkennifizzle@dammiedammie35 As a public official, if you provide responses with empirical facts, you will not be disrespected. Do you realize it is public funds that is used for this controversial project? We need to stop this โanyhownessโ in Nigeria if we want to see governance meaningful.
Irv Gotti always believed in DMX ๐
In 2015, we sat down with the legendary record producer and executive for a conversation about his influential career, working with artists like DMX, Ja Rule, and Ashanti.
He passed away today at the age of 54. May he rest in peace ๐๏ธ
I left Nigeria for Canada in September 2014.
My tuition was $27,000 and living expenses were $10,000, totaling $37,000 CAD.
At the exchange rate of 145 Naira per dollar, that came to โฆ5,365,000.
Fast forward to October 2024:
The same $37,000 CAD now equals โฆ46,620,000 at the current exchange rate of 1,260 Naira per dollar.
Thatโs an extra โฆ40 million compared to what I paid back then.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 This is definitely overpriced. It has expiration date as 2022. Exchange rate at the time was about $1 - 750 so essentially this bread cost $64. Haba nahhhh
