Medvedev won Dubai in 2023 - which means he is *one* match win away from the first 'repeat' title of his career.
Previously 22 different titles at 22 different tournaments (and cities!). #DDFTennis
EXCLUSIVE: Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson is clarifying how his condition works following his outburst at the #BAFTAFilmAwards:
“My tics have absolutely nothing to do with what I think, feel or believe,” he told Variety. “It’s an involuntary neurological misfire. My tics are not an intention, not a choice and not a reflection of my values… What you hear me shouting is literally the last thing in the world I believe; it is the opposite of what I believe.”

This is a really good litmus test for what people actually think about neurodivergence. Are you supportive when it is challenging? Or just when it is easy for you?
I feel so badly for everyone involved in this. People with tourette's say a lot of things they don't believe in.
@WTA Chair Valerie Camillo launches the new Tour Architecture Council to “develop meaningful improvements to the calendar, commitments and other core elements of the tour framework”.
Council will be led by current world no5 Jessica Pegula 👇🏾
This statement proves the IOC's decision is arbitrary and violates their own rules.
1. By their own words the IOC acknowledges this helmet is mourning dead athletes. Nowhere do they say it's a political statement. Therefore standards governing political statements do not and cannot apply.
2. They acknowledge that mourning is different in different places. If it's that different then they cannot apply an objective standard to it (the only objective way would be not to allow it at all in such a case). But they DO allow visual symbols of mourning by allowing black armbands. But they have no justification for why one visual symbol is allowed and another is not allowed. Without justification that decision is arbitrary.
3. They acknowledge that the helmet is not offensive or disruptive to other athletes by stating that they would allow him to wear it after the race. That means being worn in public in view of competitiors. If it is offensive or disruptive then they would have had to ban that too.
By their own standards they are using this decision is non-sensical. Mourning can't be policed because everyone does it differently and perceives it differently but they will police only this specific version of mourning. But also it would have been okay for him to wear it but just not while racing but they can't explain why wearing it to race violates any rule.
What cynicism from the IOC!
After the wrongful disqualification and robbing me of my Olympic dream, they announce that they are revoking my accreditation.
But then, at the initiative of Coventry herself, they allow me to stay in the Olympic Village longer…
Thank you for your “kind” heart, IOC.
new most bizarre moment of the Olympics just dropped

Steve Backshall from Deadly 60 talking about these A.I. animal rescue videos and calling them what they are is music to my ears, this 'Disney-ficiation' of animal behaviors is going to get someone killed
Carlos Alcaraz now has more Grand Slam titles than Edberg and Becker, and is level with McEnroe and Wilander.
Only eight men in the Open Era have won more Grand Slam singles titles than him.
He doesn't turn 23 until May. Mind-boggling. #AusOpen
Rybakina’s first serve percentage is only at 55% - but she’s landed a huge first serve on every point when she’s really needed it so far.
Going to be tough to beat if she’s keeps hitting her spots. #AusOpen
