@AlbicelesteTalk@estebanedul Scaloni is a coward. He must tell people of Argentina why he looked away from other players and chose De paul, molina and Nico Gonzalez
Argentina's Road to the 2030 World Cup
Be done with Messi already, he has done his best and has given Argentina everything.
The game is evolving, and Argentina must evolve with it. The next three years should be used to build the next generation rather than relying on past heroes.
The coaching staff should identify and develop more tall, fast, athletic players, especially in defense and midfield.
Build a squad capable of matching the physicality and intensity of the modern game while maintaining Argentina's technical quality and fighting spirit.
Give these players regular opportunities in qualifiers and friendlies so they are fully prepared by 2030.
Most importantly, when Argentina faces certain European teams, the players should carry that emotion onto the pitch in the right way.
Let them show their grudges through their performances, by playing with greater intensity, determination, discipline, and hunger to win.
No unnecessary talking, no dirty play, and no loss of composure. Let their football send the message.
The objective for 2030 should be clear: build a fearless, physically dominant, technically gifted, and mentally strong Argentina capable of competing for another World Cup title.
@Aveiro_dun Yes he will never, the main word is will never, he played 17 minutes in only 1 final. Don't give me crap about NL, it's a friendly match. Netherland had played 3 finals and lost all 3 Germany played 3 straight final and won only 1.
Six World Cups. Zero World Cup medals. Zero World Cup individual awards. Not a single World Cup final appearance.
Since Penaldo made his World Cup debut in 2006, Portugal have become the only European champions not to reach a World Cup final.
Meanwhile, you're mocking a player who's appeared in three World Cup finals and has won the tournament.
If Ronaldo could trade every Ballon d'Or for just one World Cup third-place medal, he'd probably do it without thinking twice.
The World Cup is football's biggest stage. Six attempts, no medal, no final, no Golden Ball, no Golden Boot, no Young Player award.
Penaldo fans are beyond shameless
@AlbicelesteTalk He is son of drunk and killer. His father was among the soldier who came to kill people in Angola.
I knew he was a vile person but never knew a successful person like him will be so pathetic.
This is the World Cup we're talking about. While Thierry Henry and Zinedine Zidane were busy playing in a World Cup final and lifting the trophy, Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal were sitting at home watching them on TV. So yes, Henry is fully qualified to lecture Ronaldo about World Cups
@G_Samito@FabrizioRomano Martรญnez was ready to hook Ronaldo off, but because Messi bagged a hat-trick. the mission changed from winning the game to finding Ronaldo a consolation tap-in. They left him on for the full 90 minutes
Mr. Olaleye, your position is difficult to reconcile.
As a reverend, one would expect you to celebrate a politician who chooses principle over expediency. In the Bible, Daniel refused the king's delicacies and privileges, even when others around him were feasting and conforming. He chose conviction over convenience and integrity over acceptance.
Yet you praise Peter Obi for being decent, humane, and principled, while simultaneously condemning him for refusing to embrace the very brand of crude politics that has damaged our political culture.
You cannot applaud a man for his character and then criticize him for acting according to that character.
If Obi were engaging in political blackmail, reckless alliances, or the usual winner-takes-all tactics, the same voices would accuse him of being no different from the politicians Nigerians complain about daily. But when he attempts to practice politics with a human face, restraint, and consistency, he is suddenly portrayed as politically inadequate.
That is a contradiction that deserves reflection.
The real question is this: Do we genuinely want a different kind of politics, or do we merely want different politicians practicing the same old methods?
A reverend should be among the first to commend integrity when he sees it, not demand that it be sacrificed on the altar of political expediency.
Perhaps the issue is not that Obi refuses to play crude politics. Perhaps the issue is that his refusal exposes how accustomed many have become to it.
