1/ you're literally 20 tests away from $10k/mo.
and the fucking 2-week App Store review is the only thing stopping you.
here's how i test my paywall + onboarding as many times as i want. no 2-week wait, no review
2/ context: i'm a dev. i've shipped subscription apps and i absolutely hated the review process more than anything.
waiting 2 weeks to change one price? infuriating.
so i spent way too long finding ways to update things immediately. this is the system i landed on.
3/ first, why testing = money.
one good paywall change can lift conversion 5-10%. stack a handful of those and you've doubled revenue per install.
the problem was never that founders don't test. it's that apple only lets them test once every 2 weeks.
4/ the funnel that makes money is 4 steps:
ad creative → install → onboarding → paywall
onboarding + paywall are where the money is won or lost. most founders bake both into the app.
so every test = a new build + a review wait.
5/ that's the trap.
baked-in paywall means you test it once every 2 weeks. so 20 tests = 40 fucking weeks. almost your whole year.
the single highest-leverage screen in your app, and you barely get to touch it.
6/ now flip it.
most people build the paywall into the app. changing it means rebuilding the whole app and waiting on apple.
instead, keep it outside the app.
change it on your end → everyone sees it instantly. apple never involved.
7/ two pieces make this work:
• paywall → RevenueCat. they host it, i change price, layout, offer from their dashboard. app pulls the one im testing.
• onboarding → this one's custom. every question, screen, and branch lives in my own database.
8/ that onboarding part is the real unlock.
want to cut 3 questions from the flow? a few clicks.
want to test a completely different onboarding start to finish? minutes, not a resubmission.
your onboarding becomes something you tune weekly, not once a quarter.
9/ and it works.
i rewrote the paywall on my own app, reframed the offer, made annual the default.
revenue up in 24 hours. no new build. no review. just a change i pushed and watched land.
10/ this is the actual edge in subscription apps.
the winners aren't better designers. they just run more tests, faster.
speed compounds.
11/ and this is just onboarding + paywalls.
next i'm writing up how i push updates to the entire app without a single review. actual code changes, live.
follow so you catch it.
12/ if you're still shipping a new build every time you want to test a price or an onboarding question, you're moving slower than your competition.
i build subscription apps where the paywall + onboarding can be changed anytime. no rebuild, no waiting on apple.
dm me and i'll build it for you.
Make sure you are not poor. I will explain.
Yesterday I was coming back from the gym, I was by the road waiting to board a keke napep, and beside me was a guy standing.
Two other boys came and begged him for money. He didn't give them anything, and they left.
When we finally got a keke napep, coincidentally, we were going to the same bus stop.
When we got there, I gave the keke napep rider ₦200 and was about to leave, then I noticed the guy had already paid for me. He told me to take my ₦200 back.
I turned, collected my money, said thank you, smiled, and walked away.
While I was trekking home, it dawned on me that I didn't need him to pay for my transport. Why did he?
It was obvious I could afford it comfortably, so why did he choose to pay for me?
And I remembered that he had refused to give the other beggars anything, yet he ended up paying ₦200 for me.
I am sure had he given that ₦200 to them, they would have been far more grateful, because it would have meant so much to them.
Me, who already had more, yet he gave me more.
This is not an emotional post but something you should reflect on. It didn't start today, it has been an old principle.
The Bible says in Matthew 25:29, "For everyone who has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."
Have you noticed that your rich uncle keeps getting more gifts and blessings from people, even though he seems not to need them?
But look at you, nobody cares to give you anything, because you have nothing.
Here is the simple gist, push to have something. If you are starting out, nobody might help you, nobody might care about you, but the moment you hit a certain level, people will rush to even offer you help.
It is not hypocritical, it is just a natural law. People prefer to pour into a river than to pour into an empty cup.
This is exactly why your friend will prefer to share a celebrity's post than to share yours.
They prefer to comment under a celebrity that won't even notice them, than to drop a nice comment on your post.
So push, nobody is coming to help you.
At the initial stage, you have to do almost everything by yourself, until you have more, and more will be given to you.
It is just a simple principle.
This is not a post that goes viral but please SHARE this and bless your people.
Las las, we all go dey alright.

You can do 2+2 easily in your head, but you would struggle do 7863 x 1278 in your head, and would need to put it down on paper to solve it right.
...the brain of average people is not designed to handle complex problems in the air, you have to write it down.
This is why whenever you are getting overwhelmed with a life problem it gets less heavier when you journal and write about it. Put all the pros and cons on paper, then make a plan in step by step bullet points

How to master Claude Fable 5 in only 15 steps:
(Send it to your team. They're burning credits)
1. Pick one super hard, expensive problem.
"Rewrite this email" is shooting a bird with a bazooka. Bring Fable a hard decision, a research report, a mess only a genius untangles.
2. Open a new Claude chat.
Fable re-reads the entire thread with every message - and you pay for every re-read.
New task, new chat. No exceptions.
3. Select Fable 5 → Effort High.
Save "Max" effort for the truly brutal jobs.
Thinking time costs credits too.
4. Paste your "about-me" doc.
AI is average by default - trained on everyone, so it answers like everyone. Keep one Google Doc: who you are, what you do, how you write. Paste it first.
5. Give it your goal, not a task.
The template: "I need [task] for [goal]. I expect [goal] achieved once we hit [specific targets]."
6. Add to the first prompt: "Ask me questions first."
Exact Prompt: "Start by asking me questions about the task, goal & targets to fully understand the context."
7. Add this to a prompt: "Answer first, explain after."
Now the first sentence of every follow up prompt is the bottom line. No more scrolling through methodology to find your answer.
8. Add: "Don't say done. Prove it."
Exact prompt: "Only report work you can point to evidence for. If something is not verified, say so."
This removes the fake "all done!" reports. Same standard you'd hold a new hire to.
9. Add: "Pick one option. Commit."
Exact prompt: "When you have enough information to act, act. Give me a recommendation, not a survey of options." You want a verdict, not a menu.
10. Send it. Answer its questions.
It asks 3-4 sharp ones. This 2-minute interview decides the quality of everything after.
11. Let it work. Don't interrupt.
Every "oh wait, also-" makes it re-read the whole thread. I paid $14 for one chat learning this.
12. Stop after 2 messages.
Fable's job is the genius part: the plan, the strategy, the hard call. That's it.
13. Switch to Opus 4.8 (High). Same chat.
Model menu → switch. Opus is included in your plan & it reads everything Fable just planned.
(Cowork can't switch mid-chat. Annoying, I know)
14. Finish everything there.
Drafts, edits, the 20-message back-and-forth: all on Opus. That's the free part.
15. Save it all in a Project.
Your files and instructions live there permanently. Tomorrow's session starts warm, not from zero.
Fable 5 thinks for 2 prompts. Opus 4.8 does the rest

My story of how I went from $0 to $100K/Month.
Pretty long video, but I think there's something to learn whether you are in a worse or better position than me financially.
It's 15 minutes and I made this video in the hopes of hopefully motivating you to be even better.
Video editing has nowadays become a conversation..
you drop raw footage in a folder, tell Claude Code what you want, and get final.mp4 back.
its free, open source, 17,000 stars on Github.. it's called video-use.
and the reason it's different from every "AI video editor" is how it actually works under the hood..
it doesn't guess. it transcribes every word you said first, then edits off the actual transcript.
what it does once your footage is in the folder:
- cuts every umm, uh, and false start automatically - kills the dead space between takes - color grades each segment.. warm cinematic, neutral punch, or a custom ffmpeg chain - builds the cut with editor sub-agents, runs the animations in parallel - renders a preview, grades its own work, and iterates until it's clean
and yeah.. it asks before it cuts.
it shows you the plan in plain english and waits for your yes.
it's not a black box that spits out a mystery edit.. you stay the director, it does the labor.
▫️ how to start
install the skill in claude code (repo below)
drop your raw clips in a folder tell it "cut the filler, tighten the pauses, warm cinematic grade" and let it work
And yes,
it's a tool, not a taste replacement. it'll hand you a clean, tight cut, but the creative calls, the hook, the pacing, the story.. that's still you.
it does the 80% that's grunt work so you spend your time on the 20% that matters.
editing stopped being a skill you grind for years. it's a prompt now.
