Erling Haaland earns £75,000 a day and eats cow heart and liver on purpose. The viral clip of him buying steak, honey and milk from an old woman's farm is the most optimized purchase in football.

Haaland runs a 6,000 calorie ancestral diet his father designed with a nutritionist. Raw milk he calls his magic potion. Raw honey instead of sugar. Steaks up to 770 grams. Organ meats for the iron and B vitamins. His rule, laid out in his 2022 documentary, was quality food as local as possible. People say meat is bad, he said, then asked which one they mean. The McDonald's kind, "or the local cow that eats grass right there?"

So when he knocks on a farmhouse door for milk, honey and steak, he is executing the sourcing strategy he described four years ago. Norway reportedly shipped 580 kilograms of food to recent qualifiers so his kitchen never left his control.

The rest of the system is just as extreme. 9 to 10 hours of sleep, mouth taped shut to force nasal breathing, blue light glasses for hours before bed, a cryotherapy chamber at home.

City signed him through 2034, the longest contract in Premier League history at a reported £525,000 a week, and deleted his release clause. The entire bet rests on one body staying elite into his mid 30s.

The milk costs a few pounds. The machine it fuels is worth £27 million a year. He remembers exactly what he is. That is why he shops there.

Here's my style after making plenty of mistakes.

1. T-shirts:

Skip 100% polyester unless you're buying gym wear.

Instead, search:
• 100% Cotton
• Combed Cotton
• Heavyweight Cotton
• 240-300 GSM Cotton
• Premium Cotton
• Mercerized Cotton

The heavier the GSM, the thicker and more premium the shirt usually feels.

2. Jeans:

Denim Jeans
Temu is surprisingly good for denim if you know what to search.

Search:
• Denim Jeans
• Cotton Denim
• Raw Denim
• Selvedge Denim (if available)
• 98% Cotton + 2% Elastane
• 99% Cotton

Avoid jeans with high polyester content. The more cotton, the better they'll age and feel.

3. Body-hug clothing:

Search:
• Ribbed Knit
• Modal
• Viscose Blend
• Cotton-Spandex Blend

They hold their shape much better than cheap polyester.

4. Hoodies
Search:
• 400 GSM
• French Terry
• Cotton Fleece
• Heavyweight Hoodie

5. Chains

• PVD Gold Plated
• Vacuum Plated

These are far more resistant to fading than ordinary fashion jewelry.

Pictures lie a lot

The description usually tells the truth.

Here's how I shop:

1. Read the material composition before anything else.

2. Sort by Most Orders or Best Selling, not cheapest.

3. Only buy products with lots of reviews or pictures or even better when a Nigerian has purchased it before they always tell the truth.

4. Read the 1-star reviews first. They'll tell you what the seller won't.

5. Look at customer photos, not the product photos.

6. Check the weight of the product. Better quality clothing is often heavier.

7. Read the size chart. Don't assume your Nigerian size matches.

8. If the title has words like "luxury," "premium," or "designer" but the material is 100% polyester, not everything but still move on.

Your best friend isn't the product picture.

It's the material, the reviews, and the customer photos.

That's how you separate the gems from the junk.

As a founder, If you’re raising venture capital, sitting in board meetings, or speaking with institutional investors, there are about 30-40 business terms you should know cold. I have been doing this for more than 10years so these are the ones that matter.

1. WACC — Weighted Average Cost of Capital
This is one of the most important concepts in corporate finance.
Meaning
The average cost of every dollar the company uses to finance itself.
Money isn’t free.
A company can obtain money from:
Equity (selling shares)
Debt (bank loans, bonds)
Each has a cost.
WACC combines both.
Example:
You need ₦100 million.
You raise
₦60m from investors
₦40m from the bank
Investor expects 20% return.
Bank charges 10% interest.
Your WACC is
(60% × 20%) + (40% × 10%)
= 12% + 4%
= 16%
Meaning:
Every project you invest in should ideally earn more than 16%.
If not, you’re destroying value.
