"The number one priority of our foreign policy is to protect the American people. We can not and will not allow any cases of Ebola to enter the United States" ~ Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State
Hey 🤍
I wanted to finally share something personal… after over 4 years of building Binti through all the ups and downs, we’ve hit a big milestone! We are now local manufacturers 🥹
Our first brand is Mrembo Pads, made right here at home 🇰🇪

How does the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) always “lack money” for doctors, nurses, and Junior Secondary School teachers yet never for Members of Parliament?
The hypocrisy is staggering. Speaker Wetang’ula pockets KSh 25,000 every month for airtime alone, more than the entire monthly salary of a JSS teacher earning KSh 17,000. The irony is brutal: those who heal the sick and mould the nation’s children are told to be patient, to sacrifice, to wait for “better economic times.” Meanwhile, the political class fattens itself on privilege as if public funds were private inheritance.
A state that values airtime over education and indulgence over healthcare is a state that has lost its soul.
Central kitchen No.30 is now complete 🎉
Amazing work by our @Food4Education team.
We now feed 576,000 kids a day 🙏🏾
More meals coming up as we continue #FeedingTheFuture
This guy covered his pal so well, and good for the one police who tried to shield. I think this is the same guy who removed the female cop from the mob to safety- despite the fact that they continue to behave badly
Litete Emmanuel spends his days staring at the land he once farmed, seated by a small fire outside his house. The 42-year-old father of seven didn’t stop farming by choice—his land was signed away to a carbon offset project owned by Daniel Blattner. A THREAD on how foreign investors profit while Congolese communities lose.
We have a civic and moral duty to continue with this fight until the end no matter how draining and devastating it is. That’s why I’m still standing here. That’s why we should never tire. Blood was spilled. Our comrades were killed. It is our duty to continue. Never forget.
