@Vincent_Ledvina Observation: When the aurora was the most vivid red to the naked eye, at least 3 coyotes in my area began howling, and they continued until the red dissipated. This happened on 4 separate occasions. Any thoughts on the effect the aurora has on wildlife?
@SamKuffelWx Not a chapstick fan but Carmex needs to develop a 'northern' version. Ever try to squeeze Carmex out of a tube that's been left in a frozen car?
@Chicago1Ray@SenFettermanPA Litmus test would be for him to convince his D buddies to pass the CR and open the government. Only then would I even consider welcoming him in to the fold.
@nationalmoleday Happy Mole Day from the Oehler family. Great memories of past Mole Days, shipping T-shirts and merch everywhere for students to celebrate their favorite day. Dad's favorite time of the year!
@wiz_political I don't care about the paid protest but I do have a problem with them using roundabouts...which makes for a huge distraction in an already confusing situation for drivers, especially this weekend with leaf lookers from out of state swarming SW WI.
@derrickvanorden The only connection I see between PBS funding and 'emergency alerts' in Wisconsin is that the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board is responsible for the operation and maintenance of most or all of the NOAA Weather Radio transmitters in WI. Unsure of Fed funding for that.
@ClayTravis Weather radios saves lives. There is a NOAA weather radio transmitter in Kerrville. There are transmitters across the country that cover 90+% of the population. The infrastructure is already there. There needs to be a national discussion to promote weather radios.
