NOTICE OF PLANNED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – ENTEBBE AREA

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be informed that there will be a planned interruption in water supply in the Entebbe area due to a scheduled power shutdown by UEDCL.

Date: Sunday, 5th July 2026
Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This shutdown is necessary to enable UEDCL to carry out critical maintenance works on the power grid. As a result, water production at Entebbe Water Works and pumping from all booster stations will be suspended during this period.

Affected Areas Include
Kigungu, Airport, Bugonga, Kitooro, Nakiwogo, Lugonjo, Banga, Lunyo, Nakasamba, Uring Crescent, Katabi, Manyago, Kitubulu, Bunono, Abaita Ababiri, Kasenyi, Nkumba, Lyamutundwe, Bubuli, Mpala, Kitala, Garuga Road, Kawuku, Namulanda, Bwerenga, Bugiri, Lutembe, Bulonde, Bweya, Bwebajja, Lubereto, Akright City, Buzi, Ziru, Jomayi, Wamala, Lutaba, Sisa, Makandwa, Nakigalala, Sekiwunga, Kabulamuliro, Kijapan, Sisa Road, Muwonge Road, and Kitende, and the surrounding areas.

Important Advisory
Customers are kindly requested to use water sparingly and store sufficient water for their domestic needs during the interruption. Please note that it may take several hours for normal water supply to fully resume after power restoration.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to ensure reliable service delivery.

@martinssempa @KagutaMuseveni i think we should be advocating for less ministers to reduce public Admin costs. i think the @Mglsd_UG cater for this well. i really think many ministries are so duplicated. if i became president i would condense them further to have only maybe 10 major ministries
