@matthewstoller For one international meeting we received approval to travel but not for the talking points so paid for flights and hotels then sat in the meeting without speaking. Another time the lead person didn’t get their govt passport approved in time. All routine stuff before this admin.

@matthewstoller Layoffs may be fine but they need to update the administrative rules some of these people were responsible for. They removed the gatekeepers but left the gates closed. I’m in a different agency but need State’s approval to travel and now it’s always late or not returned at all.
