It’s 6pm… and still no update from Nigerian Police.
No statement. No accountability. Just silence.
So that “officers on their way to Abuja” was for what exactly? Just another way to calm Nigerians down?
We’ve seen this pattern too many times. Delay it, go quiet, then hope it fades.
We’re still watching. This one won’t be ignored.

Police !mpunity is back on full display. At Ojuelegba Under Bridge, Lagos, the Anti-Cult!sm Squad officers are harassing youths and confiscating their phones.
Same place. Different guys.
I was on my way from school to attend my uncle’s wife’s burial when I was stopped along the road while on a bike. They searched me thoroughly and found nothing. Then they went through my phone, looking for anything related to fraud, even questioning why I had Facebook installed.
The craziest part was when they checked all my bank apps , PalmPay, OPay, and Kuda. There was nothing in any of them except my exact transport fare.
At first, they demanded ₦1,000,000. I asked what for, and they warned me not to question them or they would take me to the station. After finding nothing suspicious, they reduced it to ₦20,000 and threatened to force me into a korope and take me away if I didn’t cooperate.
I had no choice but to call my senior brother to lend me ₦20,000. One of them even stood there, telling me exactly what to say to convince him to send the money.
After the transfer was made to their OPay account, they finally let me go.
I still can’t believe I was extorted for doing absolutely nothing. It’s painful and frustrating.
I just hope karma catches up with them soon 🙏

This guy was the most dangerous out of all of them.
He pointed a gun at me and kept threatening me like my life meant nothing. He’s the same one that hit me with the gun, shocked my body, beat me, and even slapped me from behind when I didn’t see it coming.
Out of everyone there, he was the most aggressive. The most dangerous.
He needs to be stopped!!! He is evil!!!

this particular man is a menace!
he often threaten guys with “ we go incriminate you and nothing go happen”
they operate along festac/satellite axis.
the day i was going out, they stopped our bolt and forcefully took me to the same corner for a search.
they almost beat and cuff me cos i stood on my right, i was roughed up and my clothes got dirty.
his partner opened my WhatsApp and searched for fraud related words.
at the end, they extorted me of 15k.
i reported the issue to @PoliceNG_CRU and was refered to the SO, and my money got refunded.
my question is , how are these guys still operating on the highway even after reporting to the CRU and SO.

INCIDENT REPORT @PoliceNG@BenHundeyin@officialnyscng
On Saturday, 28th February, at about 10 AM, my girlfriend and I were on our way to Epe from Ikeja when we were stopped by officers from Ladegboye Police Station, Along Ijede Road, Ikorodu.
If it’s those guys by GTB, I changed cars because of them. I used to drive myself to the airport for regular early morning flights and they always stopped me. The day I took the longer airport road route to avoid them, another group stopped me under that bridge as you exit Oshodi road. They didn’t stop my new car for a bit - until they did. Thieves, those ones.
While going home on the 13th of this month, at about 10:15pm, I drove past Dantata Bridge and noticed a young lady standing there with some luggage.
Instantly, I remembered how I was robbed at that same spot in 2022. Because of that, I reversed to find out why she was standing there, and also to warn her about how dangerous that place can be at night.
When I got to her, I realised she was a lady I met in church last December during our parish Christmas carol. I asked why she was standing there at such an hour. She said she was just returning from the East.
Apparently, their bus broke down on the road, which was why they entered Abuja late. She was standing there trying to book an Uber home.
I asked which direction she was heading. Luckily for her, it was my axis, and her estate is not very far from mine. So I dropped her off at her estate gate and continued to my house.
What surprised me was that she never called or sent a message to check if I got home safely. Two weeks passed, and I concluded that she wasn’t a nice person.
Just yesterday, I went out to get lunch and I saw her. This time, I pretended I didn’t see her. She walked up to my table, greeted me, and said, “I know you’re very angry that I didn’t call you that night to check if you got home safely. I misplaced my phone that night and I don’t even know where it is.”
At that point, I was convinced she was lying because I had seen her booking an Uber that same night. So I didn’t give her a friendly look.
She noticed, but didn’t push further with the apology.
She simply gave a soft smile and said her break was over and she needed to get back to work.
Now here’s the part that just humbled me.
While on break today, I took my car to the car wash. While cleaning under the seat, the guy handed me a phone he found there.
Guess whose phone it was?
Ada, I hope this post somehow gets to you. I’m sorry for not believing you, even when you had no reason to lie. I would have brought the phone to your house, but I don’t know where exactly you stay.
If you see this, please meet me by the grotto side after 8am Mass on Sunday.
Kindly help me repost 🙏, so Ada can see this.
