At the time of writing the script for the Eighteenth Silence in 2018, the Male suicide rate in the UK was at 17.8 per 100,000. 3 years, 1 pandemic and 3 lockdowns later the statistics are suspected to be sky high in 2020/21.

If 1 viewer spots the early signs of mental deterioration, that will be portrayed in the film, then that's 1 out of the 84 males that take their lives every week in the UK saved.
