Security forces in Tanzania utilized disproportionate, deadly violence to quell post-election unrest, causing deaths and injuries to non-protesting citizens. Completely uninvolved individuals.

They are concealing the fact that on October 29, 2025, they intentionally shot and killed several people, among whom were seven youths from the Viral Scout Management football academy.

In a poignant post on its verified X handle, the sports consultancy firm based in Dar es Salaam mourned the heartbreaking deaths of seven rising football stars, while firmly issuing a call for justice.

Viral Scout Management has confirmed the tragic loss of seven of its young football players, who died during the widespread violent clashes that broke out after Tanzania’s disputed general election.

These promising athletes lost their lives to senseless violence within their own homes. It is a profound tragedy to see such bright futures cut short by such brutal acts. It’s unacceptable.

Tragically, there have been instances where Manchester United fans were brutally killed, including one documented case where mortuary photographs showed a victim still wearing a vintage SHARP jersey.
