@Takona_official A friend had the 9-3 2.0T Aero when we were in our mid twenties, we both took great joy in surprising other people with its pace. Comfortable and smooth driving car too. I’ll always have a soft spot for them.
@Takona_official Common across a number of brands now. Some even just ship a basic leaflet with a QR code linking to an online version. Slow erosion of value to the customer in pursuit of increasing the bottom line. Removal of spare wheel was the start of it, all under the guise of “efficiency”.
@hjwakerley@markchristie owned a good few of estates. All well maintained but within a sensible budget. High scorers:
* 2010 Le Mans C6 A6 Avant 2.0tdi (lovely spec for the money).
*2010 E250cdi Touring AMG line. (Higher costs though)
*2015 Civic tourer 1.6idtec (dull but superb little car overall)
@AutoInfatuation I wanted one of these years ago, sadly I found it a little neat on the legs when I test drove it so did actually end up with a Mk4 Mondeo 🤣. On a different note, check under the plastic sill covers as these do hide serious rust issues there very well. Lovely car and spec though!
@AutoInfatuation As someone already said, the Dublin Holyhead may be your best bet. I’m from NI so would be back and forth a good bit. I’ve zero experience of the Dublin boat. Cairnryan boat is spacious & pleasant, not much to do but only a few hours to fill. None of them are cheap though lol.
