BLUE BEETLE READING ORDER

First of all, if you only read 2 comics to get to know blue beetle, read Blue Beetle 2006 and Blue Beetle: Graduation Day.

Full reading order below

don't get me started on those weird knife vids

[On break? @offmodescarab]

you are literally quoting a clip of shang chi do you know what this guy was doing before marvel

[mojo jojo @strawberrryboy]

Marvel’s beef with hiring unknown actors is crazy.

[On break? @offmodescarab]

like he's supposed to feed and reflect Peters fears that he's not deserving of his spot in the world of the avengers

[On break? @offmodescarab]

he was a guy who wanted into the elite club much like how Peter wants in on the avengers even though they're both 'normal' or whatever. he didn't earn his way to it though, much like how Peter hasn't earned his costume or whatever yet

I don't think it's really meant to be deeper

[Jack (-_•) @captaincupkick]

The whole point is the Vulture's a hypocrite

He WAS a "working class guy" but once he got rich he abandoned everyone else who was suffering. He's an arms dealer still pretending to be poor for sympathy, using it as an excuse to justify his crimes so to maintain his ivory tower

[Bbq 🧙🏻‍♀️ @MidsandreMogger]

Her character is boring and uninteresting, I'm not complaining.

I don't think she's lying either, nothing about Karen Paige warrants this level of secrecy

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@ghostiiest I think we've all complained about people in our lives before, even ones we love

[On break? @offmodescarab]

I hate how allergic people are to flaws and drama and stuff now this is so nothing

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@hernandy_s I mean... I'm kinda worried that's how it'll be perceived. esp if the movie doesn't get amazing reviews

[Dalton @RedDragon733]

Adrian Toomes is the type of white, blue collar guy who would say “I hate the rich!” and then vote for Donald Trump 3 times.

[Matchbox02 @Matchbox202002]

That nigga shang chi is never getting a movie again bro

[Brandon Streussnig @BrndnStrssng]

average politics guy tweeting about the most basic blockbuster you've ever seen:

"ok but why didn't the lead turn to camera and express that their actions were bad"

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@JGoku18 yeah this is what I assumed before seeing this quote, what interests me is that he says it's gonna somehow streamline the MCU to be more accessible

[On break? @offmodescarab]

how do they simplify this new universe if it's not a reboot

[Cosmic Marvel @cosmic_marvel]

Kevin Feige teases the future of the #MCU:

“Secret Wars will represent a beginning. It will establish a streamlined, simplified, single universe that’s easier for audiences to follow. Some aspects will feel familiar. But many, many things will be entirely new.

Earlier we talked about attracting younger audiences and connecting with a new generation. That’s exactly what this next universe is intended to do. And at its core…will be the X-Men.”

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@vinnie_sunshine it was not

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@MrN0b0dyN0where it's so weird. a lot of people who consider themselves so left wing are so conservative on stuff like this

[On break? @offmodescarab]

I blame the MCU for this attitude

[Based Ingrid 🇻🇦❄️ @Ingridpilled]

Name 1 good movie with a sex scene that isn't pointless and has narrative significance

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@Axew22 it was pretty messy just like new 52

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@MidsandreMogger @NovaMania17 I ain't having this convo with anyone that actually agrees with this prude conservative attitude about sex in movies 😭

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@TaskinTime it's still a pretty sexless franchise let's be real

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@Kruokru @joerussotweets on some level, if real superheroes* my auto correct is so bad

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@Kruokru @joerussotweets the point of watchmen was to show superheroes at their most human and moore wanted to express the idea that in some level of real superheroes existed they'd be doing it cus they think it's kinky

[On break? @offmodescarab]

@NovaMania17 so many people grew up on like only the MCU and it's so sexless
