The EAC Competition Authority has launched an inquiry into the price levels and competition in the fertilizer market. Fertilizer prices across the EAC rose along with global prices in late 2021 but they have not reduced in line with global markets.

The @eac_Competition had an engaging working session today with a Uganda Parliamentary delegation on a benchmarking visit to @jumuiya . Uganda recently adopted a competition law and this will significantly enhance the implementation of the regional law.
