Tolerance in multiparty politics means that accept my rule today, then the next round is mine. There can never be tolerance when one doesn’t want to leave at the end of the mandate, to accept the opposition to take over as new government, and former government now opposition. A round of tolerance with each other.

If you are preaching tolerance in our politics, you are an idiot. It can never be possible in this politics of ours. We must be intolerant to this stupid regime. Whoever is tired.

However, the court stopped the Electoral Commission from enforcing its decision that UPC’s Executive Committee had expired, allowing the party to continue sponsoring candidates for other elective positions.

This means UPC can still sponsor candidates for other positions (like MPs), but Akena himself cannot run for president.
