@JCSin1983@GuntherEagleman@SpeakerPelosi@grok Hard to weigh "What if's", but we engaged with Iran under the premise they would never obtain a nuclear weapon coupled with their threats of "Death 2 America" and multiple attacks on U.S. interests/allies. We have to weigh potential cost of nuclear war vs controlled conflict now.
@footybass@AmericaPapaBear@Underrated_Dom In Russia, an anthem violation may result in $1k fine or up to 1 year in prison. In China, 15 days to 3 years imprisonment. America, imposes no legal penalty. This is precisely why we should honor the flag representing our freedom, democracy and national identity.
@BasedMikeLee@ryanswalters73 Absolutely not. I have LDS family members who question parts of the Bible instead referring to the BoM. Questioning/trading the legitimacy of God's word for a book that's not fully aligned with the Bible runs afoul what I believe. The Holy Spirit will not permit me to go there.
@Bethmoylan9@america If CA had nothing to hide, they'd have no problem with voter ID, safeguards at the polls, verification of voter rolls, and accurately validating each mail-in vote. Only about a quarter of the state is expected to vote and it'll take a month? Currently wide open for rampant fraud.
@SenMikeLee@SenThomTillis@SenMcConnell@lisamurkowski@SenSusanCollins Enough already. Election integrity can no longer be compromised in America. You are responsible to put the mechanisms in place to secure our votes today and in the future. Get it done. The world is watching.
@AmericaPapaBear@Underrated_Dom U. S. Codeย 36ย U.S.C.ย ยงย 301 (1998) - during playing of the national anthem, all present stand at attention & face flag; non-military service individuals with the right hand over the heart; veterans and active duty non-uniform may salute; Armed Forces and veterans in uniform salute
@america In any other business a pathetic employee would be counseled, re-trained, put on probation, or fired for failing to meet performance expectations. In Congress, they only "work" 160 days each year, their pension is vested after 5 years and they don't have to actually do their job.
