I’m so happy people are finally finding #Loudermilk on @Netflix. That show was a joy to make and it’s FAR FROM OVER. Seasons 4 and 5 are already mapped out and ready to shoot! Just have to find the right home for it—hopefully Netflix. Can’t wait to tell the whole story! P
@DannyCass1@ianclynch@DrEilidhMaria No, there won’t be. Not good ones anyway. You’re right that they can make choices and they’ll walk. We will be left with those who have been poorly trained elsewhere. It’s not a pay rise, it’s pay restoration. They are worth it. They can’t be easily replaced.
@RishiSunak Please sort out junior doctors' pay. They deserve more than has been offered so far. If you want to win votes back this year, this is the place to start. People who heal (and people who protect) should be top of the public purse list. They are the hardest to replace.
@OliviaBabb12 Yeah, that’s not how dogs (or cats or wildlife or babies or people with PTSD) work. Age and empathy are a beautiful thing. So are noiseless fireworks.
@TfL My Victoria line journey has made me want to cry. It’s bloody awful. @MayorofLondon If you can’t sort out public transport, how do you expect us all to buy into ditching cars and using it. Supposed to be with friends over from NY an hour ago. Just want to go home now.
@flowergirl_lon If City Hall focused on putting money into improving public transport, youth projects and community policing, instead of spending millions on implementing ridiculous 20mph zones where they're not needed and ULEZ, we'd be a lot safer.
@flowergirl_lon No one has been stabbed for 22 months? Are you joking?! 211 knife crimes in the last year. Man stabbed outside Croydon College 2 days ago. Man stabbed in New Addington last week. 2 men stabbed on the high street 4 weeks ago. We have the highest knife crime in any London Borough.
I don’t want to get public transport or walk around Croydon during the day, let alone at night, but you have left a lot of people with no choice but to do this because of ULEZ restrictions which they can’t afford.
WHAT WE DO NEED… to feel safe, to be safe, to be able to walk or travel on public transport around our town without fear of being caught up in violence, let alone being the victim.
I don’t feel safe in the town I grew up in and returned to as an adult.
@SadiqKhan But anyone with a polluting car can still drive in the zone. Paying you £12.50 will not save lives. Car replacement = stressful and has a knock on financial impact. No money = cheap food and heating off. People's lives and health will be worse in other ways and this is on you.
@ManduReid I think that meaning is being implied regarding the statement made where there is none. What association? Sounds to me like an explanation about why he’s in hospital, not an excuse for actions which are frankly, in the absence of any criminal acts, none of our business.
@TheWomanHolmes No one has used it as an excuse plus no criminal act found by the police. No card has been played, simply a statement of fact that he is suffering and in hospital. You’re finding meaning where there isn’t any and making defamatory statements. I’d have a rethink.
@Office Please (please) get rid of the requirement to log one comment on a Word doc before starting another. It is slowly but surely driving me round the twist. Frustrating, breaks the flow of thought, just incredibly user unfriendly.
@SteveBarclay @BMA_JuniorDocs Your preconditions to talks are ridiculous. Stop stalling and get round the table.
It’s not a pay rise either, it’s a restoration after years of slipping backwards. Give them 35% and start to rebuild the NHS by retaining our medics. They are the best of us. Value them.
@mancunianmedic@SteveBarclay@RishiSunak I know, it's amazing where money can be found if they think it's really needed. How this doesn't fall into that category is beyond me.
@RishiSunak Results like our doctors leaving in droves to work abroad where they are actually valued? Or leaving to locum at a much higher hourly rate because being employed by the NHS pays so pitifully? Find the money. Pay them more. Value the best of us. Retain them to improve the NHS.
@CroydonLabour created this mess in the first place. Where is the outrage within the party, the investigations, the people being publicly held to account? Where is an alternative budget? There isn’t one because it wasn’t possible because of the mess to sort. #CroydonCouncil
