I've lived in #London for 20 years and heard about these phone thefts happening.. But witnessing it is another thing. It was quite shocking and the poor girl is on holiday here alone.. he's basically just swiped her safety blanket π€¬ #phonetheft
Today a motorbike came up on the pavement just missed me swerved past swiped a young woman's #phone standing in @Primark doorway, the security man just said 'oh it happened outside the premises' and shrugged. It was quite brutal tbh since he could have ran anyone over #london
I finally got offered a year of therapy on the #nhs for the lengthy childhood trauma I went through (instead of 3 months surface level here and there). Whilst I'm grateful, I'm also annoyed/upset it took this long to get here. I mean I'm 45. Why did it take so long? #cptsd#csa
@JonjayNeedham1 How did she find the article. Well I guess that's why you speak up I suppose. Tho that sounds horrific. What a horrible thing to happen. Shame on her.
@hinchliffe1569 Hey Keith. I'll watch this when I am in the right headspace. Never heard of rumble π€have you thought abt starting a tiktok page. There are a lot of ppl on there talking abt csa. Might be more of an audience? You're quite good at being consistent so could be worthwhile π€
@MELINDAMCMILLIN@TanishaMendieta@JonjayNeedham1 'refused to let you feel like a victim'. Sounds like victim shaming to me. People recover in different ways and everyone has a different story. My mum didn't let me feel like a victim either. Probably cos she was so busy attention seeking. π
@MELINDAMCMILLIN@JonjayNeedham1 I was sexually abused by my father as well. I don't speak to my mother or any of my family anymore. She sounds nicer than mine.
Ok. I was really caught off guard here. I did not expect my visceral reaction to this message from James Vanderbeek.
Do yourself a favor and listen. Just listen. ππΌππΌππΌ
