It seems the main reason why David Sullivan was allow to keep owning West Ham right now despite being banned from women and kids teams is because the FA never actually bothered to tell the Premier League he was banned
This is a complete abject failure from the FA.
It’s all very well this vile man finally leaving West Ham, but how has he been allowed to hold a position of such authority for so long, with no accountability for his known predatory behaviour that spans decades?
Solidarity with every victim who has and is yet to come forward.
Sullivan: “I am a private man, and those who personally and professionally know the real David Sullivan, not the caricature invented by the tabloids, know exactly who I am and what I stand for. I am…not the person the media has decided to paint me as.”
Oh yeah?

Blowing up the Boleyn, moving to an athletics stadium, changing the badge, scattergun recruitment, refusing to pay compensation for managers, not investing more in the training ground & years of sheer incompetence & mismanagement.
Good riddance David Sullivan.
The decline and fall of West Ham by @RorySmith
The club failed to notice that the Premier League was changing around it. Relegation is the price of that ignorance

West Ham are basically a template example of what happens when you get recruitment wrong too many years in a row. The way that they used the Rice & Kudus fees (£160m) is what decided their fate. 2 or 3 good buys (Fernandes, Summerville, Diouf) is not enough especially when you recruit so poorly at CB and striker. Amateurly-ran clubs will get found out in the modern Premier League. West Ham need a change of ownership or else it will be the same story, even if they do get promoted next season.
This is one of the hardest days of my football career.
I’m devastated for our fans, for everyone at the club and for what this means after 7 years in the club and in the Premier League.
You deserved better from us.
Thank you for standing with us even in the toughest moments.
I truly believe the West Ham family will stay united and loyal through this difficult time, just as you always have.
Now it’s on us to respond the right way, work harder than ever and fight to bring West Ham back where it belongs.
The Championship will be exciting once the dust settles but unfortunately the club is now in a state of limbo that it has narrowly avoided for years. The board couldn’t be trusted to replace Moyes, so can we trust them to efficiently replace an entire squad?
Nothing more than David Sullivan deserves. Where is Karren Brady’s world class team? Where’s the world class stadium? Utter incompetence has led West Ham to this point
This relegation wasn’t caused in one season.
It was years of drift, bad decisions, poor managers & losing our identity.
From leaving Upton Park to this.
“World class team, world class stadium.”
From the person who jumped ship during our demise.
Sad day for our football club.
David Sullivan’s incompetence led to this.
Graham Potter’s incompetence led to this.
They were asleep at the wheel in the summer.
Nuno spent the first four months comatose.
The squad was not good enough in quality or profile.
Into the wilderness. A deserved relegation.
Supported a rapist for 3 years.
Kicked Ozil out cos he was speaking about the Uyghur genocide.
Kicked your longest serving kit man out for speaking about the genocide in Palestine.
You’re one of the biggest institutions in this country that’s being run and supported by Zionists.
So the KMI panel think that we should have had a pen in the Brentford game for KLP's foul on Soucek but congrats to all the refs involved in the Arsenal varce who waved away multiple identical fouls whilst ruling out our equaliser.
Get rid of it. It's useless.
Rayner has been cleared, but the media ran 30 front pages in total, averaging 4 front pages a day during the peak of the story.
Farage's £5 million gift has had two front page stories.
Why would there be such a difference in reporting standards for the two?
The issue isn't about impeding the goalie. The issue is every team in the league have had their goalies impeded by Arsenal players this season, and nothing was done about it. They allowed those grapples, pushes, shoves and thereby set a precedent on how corners and set pieces were to be officiated this season. Chalking a goal off for impeding the GK, after setting a precedent to the contrary, on the most important game of the run-in and thereby deciding the title and relegation is why people are angry.
🚨🗣️ Jarrod Bowen: "When you look at the screen for five minutes you'll find something - a lot of grappling and a lot of holding. I'm sure if you look long enough you'll find something. Do I think it's the right decision? NO."
"Frustration. Where's the consistency? As a fan you don't want to celebrate a goal and then wait eight minutes and it's taken off you."
"Corners are physical. The Premier League is physical. That's why everyone loves it. You have to expect contact at corners. If you give that you have to give all the holding calls in the world and that's not the way people want the game to go down."
"I don't want to sound bitter but last week we had one with Tomas Socuek held at Brentford and we didn't get a penalty. But then you can't give one like that today." (BBC)
