It was always fun over the years trying to decipher Pete Carroll-isms when it came to Seahawks player injuries ("legit", etc).

The first Macdonald-ism under the microscope is "We'll see, not a big deal". That has led, a couple times, to a player missing more time than expected

Regardless, there simply is no combination of keeping 25 offensive/defensive players for symmetry purposes that doesn't leave multiple valuable contributors/prospects to the offense off the Seahawks roster. Seems highly unlikely. Guessing it's 27/23 unless trades clear space.

When the Seahawks set their initial 53, it could be heavily weighted to offense instead of the typical 50/50 split + P,K,LS.
Could make an argument to start out 28 offense, 22 defense, but things point to at least a 27/23 split toward O.
Many more tough cut decisions on O.

In this scenario, Seahawks keep 3 QB, 3 RB, both Ouzts and Brady Russell, 4 TE, 6 WR, 9 OL. Guys like Russell and Irv Charles are heavy ST players they like. Kallerup kept. Hard to think they don't keep younger OL (Richman, Cabeldue) over non-developed players (Olu, Haynes).
