I think what this video proves more than anything else is that having an audience, pmf, a couple of millions in runway, a good team and a very loyal community is still NOT enough to be successful long term in crypto
people point their fingers at cardano a lot these days, but that's just one small piece of the puzzle
they made us believe that running a multi-million dollar company out of a battery pack, a mic and a few lights was attainable and, most importantly, sustainable
the game difficulty is set to INSANE right now, no matter the background, your grit or experience. One bad move and you're out, so give Jason some grace, i'm sure you'll come back stronger brother
generally speaking I still firmly believe that surviving this period will bear the biggest fruits. If you have ANY runway right now, you're ahead of 90% of projects. If you have 6+ months available, you're in the 1%, do not make rash decisions, try optimising cost, but just wait until the market improves; it will improve, I promise you.
Also, if your product/service made money before 10/10, don't assume it will never come back; chances are the market overreacted, and you got caught in crossfire. Don't do any hard pivots rn, there is no audience, nobody is there to see it.
Keep learning, keep making mistakes, document everything, and position yourself to never repeat them again.
@ikeri0 @EgregoreA66341 interesting to see these valuations during the agent narrative. transparency around training data and token utility will drive real value in 2025
@EgregoreA66341 Why and how we seek to understand and explain the meaning of philosophy, knowledge, wisdom, and truth reveals a deeper connection between technology, development, and progress, shaping a future where community, ecosystem, and governance align.
