Good day @InterswitchGRP@interswitchspak ,
After checking the results of the top 81 students who qualified for the quiz show, I was surprised by the number of scores of 99 and 100.
It made me wonder: have students become that much stronger, or was this year’s qualifying exam significantly easier?
For context, I scored 88 in my qualifying exam and was the second-highest scorer nationwide. The cutoff for the top 81 that year was around 70. Seeing that a score in the 90s now doesn’t even make the list is quite striking.
I’m genuinely curious about what has changed. If the exam difficulty is comparable to previous years, it may be worth reviewing the selection process to ensure there isn’t a loophole being exploited. If such a loophole exists, there’s a risk that the competition may no longer be selecting the best STEM minds, but rather those who have learned how to game the process.
I raise this out of respect for the competition and its reputation.
Thank you.
For every Messi match, it's either that Africans are cursed, the coach is useless, or FIFA rigged the game. There must always be an excuse.
Let’s wait for the next excuse in the finals.
