World is a messed up place atm. Stay safe people. And thoughts go out to anyone affected by such abhorrent actions whether in the UK or elsewhere.
Will try to focus on the game but I wanted to acknowledge the awful events going on.
Look after each other. 🩵
Bunny Shaw on her announcement at Co-Op Live: “Yeah, I was nervous to be fair.
As footballers when you’re playing, we’re focusing on the pitch. Yes, there’s people there, but you don’t really see them as much.
But to be on stage, every time I look around, I’m making eye contact. I was a bit nervous to be fair but for me I was happy that I was able to share that news with the fans directly because they’ve been supporting me from day one.
I think we have a fantastic group of people and players. That moment will stay with me forever, for sure.” [via @ManCity]
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
it's so important to let it out at the right time even if you feel it's not a very mature thing to do. Else we feel lonely in a crowd, rain in the sun.
If Marmoush leaves this summer, I don't want us to spend £60-80M on another "backup" for Haaland.
The reality is that Haaland rarely misses games, which means any backup striker is likely to spend most weekends watching from the bench.
At some point we need to stop collecting talent for the sake of it. Someone like Semenyo can cover centrally when needed, and the money would be better spent strengthening other areas of the squad.
I'm not ready to watch another expensive player disappear behind Haaland for two years.
