THREAD 🧵: India's Defense Industrial Expansion in the Indo-Pacific
India’s defense manufacturing is undergoing a measurable structural realignment, shifting from import-dependency to active integration within global supply chains. As of FY26, India's defense exports have reached an unprecedented ₹38,424 crore (approximately $4 billion). This represents a nearly 63% year-on-year growth and marks a definitive transition from conceptual self-reliance to actual market capture.

In Manipur’s difficult terrain, reliable communication is more than a convenience, it is a necessity for daily life. The launch of the Community Radio Station ‘Radio Highway’ (Pallel ki Vaani) by the Assam Rifles at Pallel is a practical step toward strengthening last-mile connectivity.
Established under Operation Sadbhavana, the station focuses on community empowerment by providing a platform for local voices and sharing vital information on government welfare schemes and weather updates for farming communities.
Significantly, during periods of internet instability or shutdowns, this radio station will serve as a critical, resilient medium for authentic and verified information, ensuring the community remains informed when digital channels are unavailable. It is an effort to bridge the communication gap and support inclusive regional development by the Assam Rifles.

Today, the valley lies silent, with echoes of those screams lingering in the air. Reflecting on the anniversary of the Pahalgam attack, let us mourn those innocent lives lost to terrorism and reflect on what really took place on that dreadful day.
